Yesterday I wrote that Franco’s latest show was inevitable, given that the newspapers had spent the past few days talking about Richard Cachia Caruana and that he wouldn’t have been able to stand the perceived theft of his limelight.

Only another couple of days, I wrote, and Jeffrey – doubly jealous – would try to take over the headlines as well. In the event, we didn’t wait longer than a day, because this afternoon:
