Luciano Busuttil: promoted beyond his abilities
You’d think that a member of parliament who brought a motion before the house for the resignation of one of the government’s most senior officers would act with the required gravitas and a sense of awareness of just what he has done.
But no.
Luciano Busuttil insults us all by behaving as though it’s all a game, while he fools around with insipid remarks on his Facebook wall.
“And tonight back to Parliament for some more grilling. i like mine bleu.”
A string of asinine remarks by his Facebook friends follows.
X’imhuh vojta. X’imbarazz.
A free six-year university education + stipend, wasted on somebody who should have been washing down bathroom tiles in one of those White Rocks Holiday Complex jobs that Joseph Muscat so very much regrets haven’t materialised.
Vallapena l-left-wing education reform free-for-all tal-Partit Nazzjonalista, biex jispiccaw cwiec first-class bhal Luciano Busuttil fid-driving seat tal-pajjiz, igorru dwar l-2,500 euro fis-sena li jonfqu fuq ‘petlor’ ghax xtraw karozza bombastika xieraq lil-wiehed li minn bicca scum sar mittilkless ghax lahaq avukat.
Ja injorant pessmu.

Our dear Luciano says ‘Ijja’. I bet he got quite confused when confronted with Iva and Le in the referendum.
Being crass and boorish is the trademark of the Labour Party. Always has been. It’s how they attract their voter base.
It’s not the university education that makes a proper man; it’s the strict discipline at home and parents who model standards and insist on nothing less from their children.
I should love to meet the parents of some of Labour’s fresh faces – and only to commiserate with them that their children should have betrayed them so shamefully.
Luciano Busuttil jizloq fin-niexef:
(from The Times 23/5/12)
Dr Busuttil observed that PfP membership was not in the PN electoral programme.
Dr Gonzi asked Dr Busuttil if he agreed with PfP membership.
Dr Busuttil said he did.
Dr Gonzi said it was therefore being registered that the Opposition agreed that PfP was in the national interest. So much for claims of betrayal. The bottom line, he said, was that the Opposition had presented this censure motion against Mr Cachia Caruana only for partisan political reasons.
Iya? Iya? What a prat.
Ikkalma D. I almost always agree with your blog entries. However knowing your level of English, and your intellect, I much prefer your subtle remarks which convey your thoughts, and yet are probably not even understood by Joseph’s Boys.
And they feel insulted by your remarks – well truth hurts you know. Problem is that they go on and on and idiots continue to vote for them.
Stephen Fry was right, unfortunately.
Bil-kawlata li ghamel Luciano, ma nafx kif ma’ giex f’mohhu jghid li jixtieq jaghmlu kapuljat.
Forsi mdorri jehodha bil-kornbijf.
