  1. Riff Raff says:

How did she manage to keep a straight face?

  2. Manuel Camilleri says:

    An extraordinary woman and politician.

  3. The Phoenix says:

Maggie was an extraordinary woman, without a shadow of doubt. She made England proud again. And the innate financial resilince of the UK owes much to her.

  4. Anthony says:

    Near perfect master class standard.

One of many in British politics.

To name a few. Lloyd George, Attlee, Aneurin Bevan, Macmillan,
    George Brown.

Earlier on, Gladstone, Pitt the Younger, Walpole and Peel.

Head and shoulders above them all, the guy from Woodstock, who said “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak. Courage is what it takes to sit down and listen.”

Later on when the sun was setting on a glorious career and when he was told that his fly was open while he was addressing the House:

“Don’t worry a dead bird does not fall out of its nest “.

  5. David S says:

BRILLIANT!!!! Daphne, I must break your rules on exclamation marks in honour of Maggie.

  6. ciccio says:

So far, our Prime Minister-in-waiting has only managed to make other people wait.
Two years ago almost to the day, passengers on board an Emirates flight bound to Dubai via Cyprus were made to wait for more than an hour on the Luqa taxiways, possibly loosing connection flights to their final destinations.
Other victims of his erratic punctuality were the King of Spain and the Prime Minister.

  7. Wayne Hewitt says:

A role model politician. In these trying times, what Europe needs, is leaders like her and not the likes of Hollande, Papandreou, Venizelos, Joseph Muscat (no offence to the former politicians intended) and the rest of their ilk.

  8. Joanne says:

    She’s just brilliant.

You should also watch part 2 where she talks about the word crisis.

It seems she was referring to our present PL.
