As for the story itself … These people are both 46 yers old, for heaven’s sake! They haaven’t worked for 14 months, the man has actually stated that he’ll soon have a court summons for his failure to settle his VAT dues, “because the money has been used to subsist”. And yet, the woman still finds cash to spare to dye her hair. And for tranquillisers.
They should get their priorities right, and take whatever work they can, even if it means cleaning other people’s floors.
