Franco Debono thinks Beppe Fenech Adami is jealous of him. UNBELIEVABLE.

timesofmalta.com quotes Franco Debono this afternoon:
“Dr Fenech Adami has been harassing me for years, for reasons that I cannot understand or explain, unless this was a sentiment of jealousy to my achievements,” the criminal lawyer said.
(…)
“He is angry because he knows that he has absolutely no chance of becoming party leader, and some months ago 6% of Nationalist voters indicated me as a potential party leader while he did not even feature in the survey,” he said.

6% want Franco Debono as party leader?
That means 94% don’t.
Did that percentage not shrink to 3.5% last January?
So actually, 96.5% don’t see any leadership potential in Franco Debono.
Instead of mending his ways, he continued to sink deeper and soon he will find that 96.5% of the Executive want him and his two sidekicks OUT.
I just cannot wait to see the Gang of Three, also known as the Three Amigos disappear from the planet.
He’s just a blooming narcissist.
His mother really does have a lot to answer for.
Sshhhhhhhhh, aqtaghha ghax ha ddahhal lil Daphne f’xi basla.
Franco thinks that Dr Fenech Adami likeeverybody else, is envious of his cock
It looks like some people are not made for eternal love in marriage and in groups/teams/political parties.
It is not surprising in hindsight to understand that people with certain personal or psychological traits will never function well in their private or public life.
Such dysfunctional personalities will never be team players, or have lasting personal relationships- hence the inability to follow leadership and relationships ending in divorce.
This does not mean that there is no value to being an individual, a lone ranger. Many succesful persons have made it on their own, it is the political parties that expects that to reach one’s desires, one has to be ‘helped’. This fosters the perception of the nanny State and increases ‘social’ expenditure to the detriment of investment.
Being a ‘team player’ on the other hand, is considered by some as essential to do well on the island. The actual term would be ‘networking’. To me, this may imply a lack of skill or education that would be required to reach an objective.
When one joins a group, one is expected to conform. This happens in any culture, even sub-cultures and if one wants to be ‘individual’ one must dissasociate from the group.
Franco Debono still thinks he has a shot at leadership.
He should have contested Lawrence Gonzi a few months ago then. The fact that he didn’t shows that he was expecting LG to wipe the floor with him in monumental proportions. So he chickened out (or should it be cocked-out in his case?).
Politics in Malta is reminding me of school playground days.
He’ll be a leader, but only if he sets up his own party. In the first place the PN executive should not ever think of approving his candidature.
From what I heard through the media I would have thought that the constant harassment is a character trait more attributable to Debono himself than Beppe Fenech Adami.
I’m trying to figure this out, and I need your help.
Suppose Franco becomes PM. Given his frame of mind, how is he likely to treat another Franco backbencher holding a one seat majority?
And likewise with Jeffrey. Although I suspect this one is harder to crack.
At any rate, any thoughts?
What achievements ?
Franco rega qabad ma’ Schiavone u se jipprova jeliminah milli johrog ghal-elezzjoni.
Dawn it-tip ta’ nies ma’ jiistrihux qabel ma ipattuha lil kull avversarju li jigi quddiemhom.
Is-sabiha li huma jaraw bhala avversarji taghhom lil dawk li suppost huma shabom fit-tim, hekk naraw lil dan Franco jitla’, ghax iz-zwiemel ta’ madwaru gew eliminati bi xnieghat foloz u ittri anonimi malafamanti.
Qatt ma’ rajnieh jikkundanahom dawn l-atti, ma tistenniex ahjar minn min li lest jaqa’ ghan-nejk quddiem Malta kollha meta inqabad jikkopja in-noti ta’ Reno Bugeja u meta il-mobajl mitfi beda jdoqqlu fuq Bondi+.
Schiavone u Franco qishom l-ilma mbierek u x-xitan.
Ma kienx hemm okkazjoni fil-parlament fejn kienet qed tisimghu Malta kollha li ma harigx il-vomtu li ghandu fl-istonku kontra Schiavone li l-uniku htija li ghandu dan il-bniedem hi li hu mahbub u rrispettat fid-distrett iktar minn Franco. Hermann hu il-haruf tas-sagrificcju mela dan il-bodbod liebes il-glekk.
X’ma qalx kontrih fil-parlament fejn jista’ jghid li jrid u l-principju tan-“natural justice” li sehaq fuqu tant ,ma’ jghoddx? Kemm xehtet dubji kontra Schiavone Mary Mifsud fuq it-Times?
Franco Debono, JPO and Jesmond Mugliett, and others who have decided to fight against the party on whose ticket they were elected, have just committed political suicide. Shame on them.
@ Dee …”Franco thinks that Dr Fenech Adami likeeverybody else, is envious of his cock” ….LOL …you made my day
He has less chance of becoming party leader than I have of becoming queen of England.
Mhux hekk tghid! Beppe jghir ghal Franco?
Mela anke min-mohhu telaq issa.
It-tfal jaghmlu bhalu. Jekk ma jilghabx, IHASSAR.
Miskin min jahseb li li qed jaghmel qed jaghmlu ghal pajjizna.
These last few days, two MPs have shown themselves to be totally cut off from reality.
Franco Debono thinks that the PN will allow him to be a PN candidate for the next elections, after having blackmailed the PM for the last four years, caused the loss of a cabinet minister and caused so much harm to the PN and to the country.
JPOS brought about Richard Cachia Caruana’s resignation and has asked for him to be expelled from the PN. He did this in spite of the tremendous work Caachia Caruana has done for the country as Ambassador to the EU and also despite of his pivotal contribution to PN wins in successive general elections.

They are miles apart in everything.
I have to say that I have been pretty impressed by Beppe Fenech Adami’s consistant no-nonsense approach towards Franco Debono. He has certainly moved up in my future potential leader list. Ironic really when one considers that this is thanks to Franco.
Dan ma qalx li ma jahdimx taht Dr. Gonzi?
Dan xi skrun hu? U hallina Franco!
Ma nixtieqx li jkun hawn elezzjoni issa. Pero’ bl-atteggiament taghkom, ahjar issir elezzjoni halli nixkupawkom minn nofs u narmukom fiz-zibel.
I’ve asked Beppe if he owns two cocks and he confirmed he only owns one.
So Franco is right, because he has one more cock and Beppe is so jealous that he won’t even allow him to contest the next general election.
There’s a bright future for PN, with Johnny Dalli leading the party, JPOS as minister for family affairs, Franco as minister for Justice (then promoted to President), Jesmond Mugliett minister for fair trading and government’s contract transperancy affairs, Arrigo for education and free speech and Jean-Pierre Farrugia minister for health and defections towards Labour.
