In between making an ass of himself, JPOS finds time to embarrass the Malta Council of Science and Technology
He doesn’t seem to realise that his continued chairmanship is a public relations disaster for the council.
timesofmalta.com reports today:
The Malta Council for Science and Technology over the past year continued to successfully perform its role of raising the profile and standard of science, technology, research and innovation in Malta, council chairman Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando said today.
Speaking during the presentation of the council’s annual report, Dr Pullicino Orlando said the issue of lack of human resources in science and technology continued to be a concern and there was a need to increase the uptake in science subjects.
Yes, today – when his camp-follower newspaper Malta Today has dedicated a special edition to his ongoing battles with the Nationalist Party, the government, the former perm rep at the EU, half the media and The World.

Way to go Saviour. Maltatoday has been reduced to toilet paper under your watch. Another socialist rag.
“In this interview he mentions his ‘Labour Party contacts’. He admits that these ‘Labour Party contacts’ are providing him with confidential information. I am sure his ‘Labour Party contacts’ would not do so without expecting something in return. His reference to these ‘Labour Party contacts’ is, in itself, an admission of collusion with high-ranking members of the Labour Party.”

According to JPOS and this reasoning everybody is colluding with each other in tiny Malta. Some are married or related to the opposite party’s officials and activists. he should know.
If Labour party contacts expected something in return for their information, what does it say about Labour officials?
Does JPOS expect anything in return for voting with Labour?
JPOS truly makes an ass of himself.
Who is to blame for his continued chairmanship?
He should have been fired a long time ago.
John Dalli is one of JPO’s witnesses of JPO. Why am I not surprised?
Closet Labourites.
JPO : “”Secondly, a democratic party has no right whatsoever to censure an MP exercising his parliamentary duties in any way he deems fit. If the same were to happen in another European country all hell would break loose. Imagine what would happen if Prime Minister Cameron were to act in the same way with Conservative MPs, some of whom regularly vote with the opposition on particular issues,” – Maltatoday 4th July
In David Cameron’s government yesterday : “Ms Bray was sacked immediately after the vote from her job as parliamentary private secretary to Cabinet Office minister Francis Maude and Mr Burns earlier resigned from his job as aide to Northern Ireland Secretary Owen Paterson before he was sacked.” (http://news.sky.com/story/958615/tory-rebellion-leaves-lords-reform-in-balance )
Or better still, Carmen may be one of his witnesses, so she went to swear an affidavit.
