Comment of the day
Posted by somebody who, creatively, called him/herself ‘daphne’ – thinking, perhaps, that this might confuse the Labour voters hovering here:
insomma, kull ma nista nghid daphne, li int bniedma bla mohh. id deni tal poter ukoll tela al rasek. Taqra l ingliz tieghek titqazez taqrah. Specjalment gazzetta bhal l independent waqajt az zufjett. Vera nahseb qatu qalbhom tal independent biex jimpjegaw wahda bhalek. Mhux ta b xejn ma tantx tinxtara l independent. Hlief tghajjar in nies ma tafx. Fl ahhar elezzjoni ivvutajt pn imma l atitudni ta nies bhalek arroganti fil pn ibda mill prim ministru li anqas kapaci jirrispetta l poplu f referendum u spicca fik, nahseb li l partit nazzjonalista tilef l gheruq tieghu. Jien grad lejn bniedem bhal Franco ax bniedem li jghid il verita u mhux jahbija. Li jsemmi hu huma punti validi, li tghid int kollu velenu u misthija. Anke tara t tifel tieghek x qal l universita fuq il cameras waqt laqgha ghall istudenti mal kapijiet tal partiti. U l kliem hazin li qal!!!! Insomma juri li hu t tifel t’ ommu!!!
After all your days in power are now counted, and thanks to Franco and other people who stand up for the nation, the people are realising were the truth is. (Now wonder you hate Franco, ghax daqt imurlek in nejk)
Wara kollu li ktibtlek perswaz li ha tinjorah, pero kliem bhal dan jurik li l poplu mhux beccun. U tal ghemil tieghek, u ta shabek tal klikka, kollha tridu taghtu kont l Alla.
Bye Bye PN Vote Labour.

Tghid The Man Himself posted this ?
She may be the twin sister of Mary Mifsud.
Tkellmet omm is-serduq ta’ Hal Ghaxaq.
Unbelievable – my favourite is “kollha tridu taghtu kont l Alla” after insulting you and “shabek tal klikka” like that!
Sometimes I feel that the Elves actually believe some of the stuff they write.
It makes you wonder how many persons of voting age on this island are truly delusional. There certainly are many others who are clearly illusional.
Their motto seems to be: If reason does not allow political success, then employ the irrational.
And in the end, after the war against rationality, if reason loses, there is chaos and self-destruction.
Jekk int “grad lejn bniedem bhal Franco”, mur ikkummenta fuq is-sit tieghu.
Il-kelma hija ‘grat’ hierga minn ‘gratitudini’, u mhux ‘grad’.
Grad huwa per ezempju kif tigi fl-ezami, nghidhu ahna iggib 100 fil-lerigin meta tkun fil Form IIC, pero xorta wahda ma tkunx taf kif tispelli.
What amazes me is that Franco Debono never seems to get it that the people who try to lionise him are those who want Muscat and the PL in power as soon as possible.
When they eventually get their wish, they’ll laugh Franco off, call him ‘beccun’ and say ‘telaq minn mohhu’ if he starts to criticise the PL government, as he undoubtedly will.
A major giveaway that this comment was written by a Laburist: the ‘bye bye’ ending.
Such comments are usually filled with hate, thwarted thinking, insults and of course, bad grammar and spelling. However, they invariably end with “Bye Bye”, as if to say “Ha! You’re stupid, I’m good.” Typical Labourite thinking.
There are some others that end with “and the beat goes on … and the beat goes on …” Tal-biki.
“kollha tridu taghtu kont l Alla” – Bhal ma ghad iridu jatuh Mintoff, KMB u il-marmalja taghhom!
Very convenient – pretending to have voted PN in the last election. Lanqas li ma tintaghrafx x’inhi minn kliema.
Which referendum is he/she refering to?
All I can say,
It is one thing calling yourself Daphne,
And quite another thing being the REAL Daphne.
This comment is definitely not by a PN supporter.
PL supporters are in the habit of stating that they are “PN supporter” who voted PN in the last election etc.
One only needs to read the comments left on timesofmalta.com by these so called “ex-PN supporters”.
This has become a classic cliche. This contribution comes from a PL supporter who is probably frustrated that his/her hero Cicco Debono did not bring about the downfall of the government.
Ex-Nationalist voter, my foot.
1.Name for me one Nationalist who calls the Maltese population ‘il-poplu’.
2. The university incident was before the last general election. If it disturbed him/her so much, why did he/she vote PN then?
3. Name one Nationalist who believes in ‘il-Klikka’.
I rest my case.
Daphne taqtax qalbek ibqa ikteb u ghid il-verita. Jiena dejjem naqra xi tkun ktibt, u nghid lil nies biex jaghmlu bhali.
Jekk trid tkun taf xinhu ghaddej sinjura li ktibt dan il kumment ibqa segwi dan il-blog halli titghallem aktar.
Il-verita twegga.

Who needs these people?
Say who you are you bloody coward (cowardess?) And Franco is not standing up for the nation – just ask the people who voted for him.
” Fl-ahhar elezzjoni ivvutajt pn”
Well then if that was so then I am Offa King of Mercia
Din la bil-Malti ma taf tikteb u lanqas bl-ingliz. Basta tizzattat tharbex xi haga. Pacenzja m’hemmx tikek fuq certi ittri imma lanqas l-ghajn (gh) jew il- “hyphen” . Dan zgur mhux tort tal-computer imma ta’ l-injuranza taghha jew tieghu.
Very bad Maltese spelling. In my opinion dcg’s command of English is beyond reproach.
Dear Sigarri,
I wouldn’t rush into judging anybody by his/her “bad Maltese spelling”.
How would you judge Dante or Shakespeare?
I can assure you that Daphne, unlike myself, does not only have a perfect command of English but even of Maltese.
By the way, nice to have you back – actually I thought you would be occupied in preparing for, what you call festa.
It is not difficult to see which is the real Daphne and the fake one.
The abysmal level of Maltese spelling showcased by this comment is unfortunately pretty much the standard fare evident all over Maltese comments boards and social networks.
I understand that some people are just to lazy or too ignorant to write correctly in their native language.
What I don’t understand is why the errors they make are pretty much always the same. Using “q” instead of “gh” and vice versa, using a double consonant instead of a single one and vice versa, using “c” at the end of a word rather than “tx” and several other common errors.
It’s like they all were taught Maltese by the same inept teacher. I wonder if there is some standard method of teaching Maltese in government schools that is resulting in this mess.
“and thanks to Franco and other people who stand up for the nation”. This ‘Daphne’ is not just a PL hothead.
He is a dyed-in-the-wool Mintoffjan. A dinosaur.
“Fl-ahhar elezzjoni ivvutajt …….”
Z****** f ‘ ******.
Let’s keep it clean shall we?
Dawn ma jarawx li qeghdin iwaddbu l-gebla fuq saqajhom u bla ma jridu qeghdin jammettu li marru l-bahar b’Joseph maghhom?
They are scared of you, that’s why – you speak the truth and they cannot take it.
And thanking Franco lol. A nation full of idiots. Ivvutajt PN? Yeah right. U halluni bil-kwiet.
