Ah, so that why Marisa Micallef is largely invisible. Joseph Muscat keeps her in storage and brings her out for his laqghat mal-puliti.
Malta Today reports:
Muscat met a delegation of Din l-Art Helwa at the Labour headquarters in Hamrun. He was accompanied by Labour advisor and former Nationalist Party candidate Marisa Micallef and MPs Leo Brincat and Owen Bonnici.

Was she ever a Nationalist Party candidate? Don’t know, so just asking.
[Daphne – Yes.]
1998 election 9th district – 587 1st count votes
eliminated on the 17th count with 673 votes
Are they using her as a translator, or interpreter, perhaps?
Labour treats its people like objects. For a meeting with Din l-Art Helwa, Joseph Muscat takes Marisa Micallef. When they want to appear tough, he takes Joe Debono Grech.
When they want to appear stupid they take Luciano Busuttil.
Nothing much matters as long as they get the vote.
Slight correction, when they want to appear stupid they just let Joseph do all the talking.
They all sound stupid as they are used to talking to stupid individuals who believe their bull****.
Toninu…you’re wrong….. Labour never need to “look” stupid……they always are.
AND…..when he doesn’t want to appear he sends Michelle.
When they want to appear gay, they take Cyrus.
What a pity. I tended to like her
Yesterday Joseph met a Din L-Art Helwa delegation. He gave a short talk and then suddenly asked for questions from the people who were sitting behind the delegation.
They were prepared questions and after answering these two questions, he stood up and ended the meeting. Din L-Art Helwa representatives were not given a chance to ask a question. Dialogu ta’ veru.
That’s not what Leo Brincat says:

This morning the PL had an excellent, rewarding, frank forward looking 1.25 hr discussion at the CNL with Snr. officials of DIN L-ART HELWA.
