I’m told that Franco wants to know who Brick Top is, but is too embarrassed to ask

One of the greatest films ever.

    Try this one as well:

    Daphne,

I’m already an avid leader of this website and really enjoy the political analysis that goes on here. But adding Snatch references to the mixture has brought it up a couple of notches.

An appropriate quote to Franco Debono from Brick Top would be “You’re on thin f*****n’ ice, my pedigree chum, and I’m going to be under it when it breaks.”

Sorry for geeking out a little there but I couldn’t resist.

Perhaps the best EVER British film put-down is this little speech by the great Ian Richardson as Sir Nigel Irvine.

The bit about “schoolboy politics” and “idiotically conceited faith in your own importance” is uncannily prescient.

The film (‘The Fourth Protocol’) was made in 1987. How could they know about Malta in 2012? And there’s NATO and the RCC affair.

Richardson has played Holmes, among others. Just drink in his wonderful British voice.
