A textbook case of extreme self-delusion

Published: October 1, 2012 at 12:41pm

While Franco parades his paranoia on his blog, Jeffrey parades his self-delusion on Facebook.

Look at this screen-shot. Isn’t it amazing? Talk about the id going to the rescue of the ego and the super-ego, or whatever the jargon is.

You just have to watch in awe.

And on Independence Day, Puffy-Eyed Jeff wrote a song of praise to George Borg Olivier, beginning with the words “what he may have lacked in charisma…”.

What an idiot. Here’s another of those chaps who thinks that charisma is something manufactured, and who almost certainly thinks that he is charismatic himself.

Borg Olivier had loads of charisma, Jeffrey. He was a witty, charming, caustic raconteur with perfect manners. Ladies loved him, men were entertained by him, and he managed to pull off the extraordinary stunt at which you have so spectacularly failed: being truly elegant despite being incredibly short.

“What (Borg Olivier) may have lacked in charisma…. ”

    Aaarrrgh.

Perhaps JPO thinks Mintoff had charisma – dak il-pastazun bil-hdura kontra s-sinjur.

From one of Mintoff’s famous budget speeches:

“Ghaliex ix-xita tinzel mis-sema u mhux titla mill-art? Ghax inkellha tixxarrablek il-linfa “, ‘linfa’ being his word for what the British call ‘family jewels’.

George Borg Olivier was a unwavering in his beliefs, a true visionary, elegant and with impeccable manners. He was a true statesman, like whom Malta has had no other.

And he never sat next to his driver.

George Borg Olivier had panache and style, unlike JPOS and the Hal Ghaxaq capon, who don’t even know where to begin. They buy expensive clothes, put them on, and call it style.

As though you can buy it in a shop.

Please upload Borg Olivier’s picture waving the Independence document , wearing his tails . How I wish I was present seeing the birth of our nation .

He was a man for all seasons, and we need more men like him.

  5. Fido says:

Dan qatt iltaqa’ ma George Borg Olivier għax naħseb li meta miet Gorg, JPO kien għadu jagħmel fil-ħarqa. Jekk qatt ma iltaqa’ miegħu (aħseb u ara kemm kien jafu sew) kif jista’ b’xi mod jkollu d-dritt li jikkonkludi li ma kellux kariżma?

  6. The Phoenix says:

Well, what can I say? Was JPO around to savour what Gorg was? I don’t think so.

So what’s this about passing judgement on someone you never knew? How did he know what charisma Borg Olivier possessed?

  7. JPS says:

    wow – He got 5 ”LIKES” .

Giorgio Borg Olivier was elegant in every circumstance. Even more so in adversity and defeat.

JPO, well, within a couple of months he will be the a mere addendum to a Labour activist. Borg Olivier worked for a nation to earn respect dignity and identity. JPO —a total non-entity in every way, including dentistry.
