Fresh new Labour

A nice pair of tits.

Evarist Bartolo on Facebook:

Ircevejt il-kartanzjan … imma se naghmel minn kollox biex waqt li jugaghni ‘l hawn u ‘l hemm u l-gisem imajna nibqa’ zaghzugh fl-ispirtu …

He’s going to try to REMAIN young in spirit? I’ve never known the man to be anything other than a morose and monotonous bore. He was never young in spirit.

Minn dejjem kien qisu mara xiha. I believe my blog nickname for him used to be Suor Bartolo, because all he needed was a black wimple and he could have been one of the more unpleasant nuns at school.

    Jugaghni jew jugghani?

    • JoeM says:

Juġagħni, Giovann. Qed naqtgħu lura, sieħbi :)

      • GiovDeMartino says:

        Are you sure?

      • JoeM says:

I wouldn’t have answered your question if I weren’t sure. Use “wiżen” for “weġa'” as a model and you’ll never get it wrong again.

Kudos to Bartolo for getting it right, btw.

      • GiovDeMartino says:

I didn’t get it wrong JoeM. I simply asked. Thanks for your information.

      JIMPORTA NFAKKARKHOM F’WEGHDA OHRA TAL-PN ?

      ” KULL META TXGHEL IS-SWITCH IKOLLOK ID-DAWL ” !

[Daphne – You must have plugged in far too many seks tojss all at once, Mr Privitera. Tsk tsk.]

      • maryanne says:

Mr. Privitera, Franco is telling you that you have problems. Obey him and stop reading this blog.

“The way you are portrayed depends on wheter you are submissive or not to the Evil Clique. People who read the nonsense on that Blog must have serious problems. I doubt wheter people who believe those outright, baseless and incredible lies satisfy the eligibility requirements to vote.. . .”

      • Alf says:

Imma kemm tiflah tkun redikolu, sur Privitera. Liema news segwejt illejla? Forsi ma smajtx li kien kuntrattur li laqat cable? Kemm tifilhu taqghu ghan-n***.

      • Daph, ftakartha dik il-weghda ? Ara kemm ilkhom tghaddu z-zmien bin-nies !

[Daphne – Kindly do not address me as ‘Daph’. That is the prerogative only of my family and close friends. You will note that I never fail to address you as Mr Privitera.]

  2. Daphne; I just cannot believe that you always manage to reach deeper depths of the gutter ! if only you had a tiny fraction of the charisma of Evarist Bartolo, you would be in the seventh heaven, although you wouldn’t admit it !

[Daphne – Evarist Bartolo has absolutely no charisma. If he had, I would have noticed it immediately when I first met him 30 years ago. In the 30 years since, I have been unable to detect even the slightest hint of anything remotely like charisma. He is the polar opposite of charismatic. And I speak as a woman. Perhaps old codgers such as yourself find him deeply attractive. I wouldn’t know.]

    • Rita Camilleri says:

If Evarist Bartolo is charismatic then I am Angelina Jolie.

      • Daphne: I simply cannot imagine how you can judge other people’s charisma. Probably you’ll tell me that Lawrence Gonzi is charismatic, won’t you ???

Rita: The hate you have for the PL is obviously affecting your vision ! Probably even Dr. Joseph Muscat is not charismatic for you, when all independent journalists and other opinion formers , often refer to Dr. Muscat’s charisma.

For example, although I criticize often Dr. Simon Busuttil, I can never say that he is not charismatic . This is the difference between us. GonziPN apologists allow their political bias to drown reason !

      • delacroixet says:

Angelina Jolie? Wasn’t she some sort of actress who begged for a photo with Franco Debono, M.P.?

      • H.P. Baxxter says:

I agree with Eddy Privitera. Joseph Muscat is one of the most charismatic men in Malta. He is intelligent, good-looking, and a family man. In fact I go weak at the knees when I see his fantastic smile. No, really.

      • Bubu says:

With all due respect, Eddy, but Labour have a long history of electing abysmally uncharismatic leaders.

Muscat strikes me as phoney, not charismatic at all. He speaks as if he’s constantly acting a part.

And yes, Dr. Gonzi *is* charismatic – a lot more than Dr. Muscat, and a lot less phoney.

As for Maria l-Maws – just don’t go there, OK? He’s as charismatic as a blob of drying paint for crying out loud.

      • kev says:

Eddy Privitera is right about Joseph’s and Sajmint’s shared charisma. It is common knowledge in the European Parliament that the only reason no one missed il-Ginger’s departure for kapò is because they knew they could count on his twin and future kapò to bathe them with real Mowqijz karizmatiks.

Moreover, they’re both tapp-tas-SevenUp material, just like EPP leader Joseph Daul, so there you are.

      • BuBu: Gonzi ” is charismatic” did you say ? Habib, ghandek problema serja . Kemm Gonzi jirrecta jaf tista tinduna, meta ghandu din il-krizi fi hdan il-partit tieghu, li HADD fl-Ewriopa m’ghandu bhala, u TAPARSI TARAH JISFORZA D-DAHQ !

Dak jigifieri li hu politiku falz !

      • Bubu says:

        @Eddy

I think it is you who have a problem – you have no idea what “charismatic” means.

    • Joe Micallef says:

Bartolo, charisma? Privitera, you must live in a sad place.

    • TinaB says:

      Charisma? Evarist Bartolo?

He wishes that he has a fraction of Daphne’s wit and sense of humour. Gej bil-charisma.

You must be as boring as he is, Mr Privitera. No wonder you are a PL avid supporter.

Your contributions on internet are one of the PN’s greatest assets.

      • TinaB. So , according to you, GonziPn ( you are already ashamed to mention GonziPN which is the name Gonzi gave his party in 2008, remember ?), needs me to get elected !

Why do opinion polls show GonziPN plumetting then ? Probably then, because Daphne’s comments and articles abolish the advantage I give to GonziPN ! Dream on !

    • TROY says:

Evarist! Charisma! What the flippen hell are you talking about, Sur Privitera? The guy is as charismatic as a praying mantis about to devour her mate just as they’re having sex.

    • Lejber Werks says:

Is this the Eddy Privitera who keeps making an utter fool of himself? -> http://www.facebook.com/eddy.privitera.9?fref=ts

If so, why don’t you scurry away back into the hole you crawled out of.

People like you have kept the population dry of knowledge and truth, and will further continue doing so because of the one brain cell yo’veu got floating around somewhere in that thick head of yours.

Why don’t you sit back on your sofa, watch some retarded show on Super One, and stick to what you know best, going to church on Sundays and believing you’re a goody follower of Christ.

      • TinaB says:

Thank you for providing this link, Lejber werks.

Eddy Privitera’s list of favourites includes “We Want Justice Petition Against Daphne” and yet, here he is, boring (or entertaining) us all with his frequent but very silly contributions.

        Get a life, Eddy Privitera.

      • Harry Purdie says:

However, the little old wrinkled creature is dominating this thread. His cunning plan is coming to fruition. (Nothing to do with gays. Eddy)

      • Harry Purdie says:

Just had a thought, this old fart reminds me of Gollum,. The resemblance is remarkable.

      • “Lejber werks”- I am enjoying reading your rubbish. It gives me great pleasure seeing you get so annoyed because I am not afraid to show my name, while you hide like a scared mouse !

    • Tania says:

I hate to point out the obvious but the fact that one gives a toothy smile while passing a sarcastic, often nasty, comment does not qualify that person as having charisma, quite the opposite in fact.

    • SEXUS says:

Eddie: Il-karizma ta’ Bartolo tidher l-aktar fil-velenu li kien jobzoq fl-artikli tieghu taht il-psewdonomu ‘Maria l-Maws’. Mhux se nsaqsik tiftakarhomx ghax nag cert li tiftakarhom aktar minni! Daphne xxomm xi jsarrfu qlafat bhal dan minn seba’ mili ‘l boghod. She is the expert. Not you.

    • Monte bello says:

Compared to you, Privitera I would say yes, Varist is fabulously charismatic. But then again, I have a flip flop with more charisma than you.

      • Monte bello: enjoy the last few weeks or months watching the most funny charade in Malta’s political history, starring Lawrence Gonzi, Austin Gatt e bella compania !

    • Bil-vistu says:

Imma kif trid tiftah halqek fuq kollox, sur Eddy?

What would you know about charisma?

You probably thought Mintoff had charisma. Whereas to the rest of us he was just the biggest hamallu u nittien – the type of man our mothers always warned us against.

  3. Jozef says:

You should have seen Leo Brincat on TX yesterday.

He kept putting down any experimental research into the financial feasibility of windfarms, repeating he doesn’t want to be destructive, negative and what have you. (The brief seems to be not to come across as a bunch of nagging twits).

Is he saying the government is wrong in ensuring that wind turbines actually work? We’ve seen turbines proposed, built and dismantled after a few years in Denmark, Holland and Italy, places which have considerable and consistent wind patterns, it’s the turbines which are proving critical in their operation. Pressing for a dead end and deviating from the mix required simply to put negative results on application onto the government is utterly irresponsible. Il-vera gallarija dan-nies.

It’s also interesting how the message at the end was that the energetic demand and the dependence on fossil fuels was put across as the greatest challenge, and which will, ‘make or break the next government’.

I take that to be the perfect alibi NOT to lower tarriffs.

  4. Allamana says:

    Evarist Bartolo young at heart?

Well, his IQ never progressed beyond that of a cheap village lamp-post.

As for his charisma, my Rottweiler has more.

And he is going to be our future Minister of Education.

  5. elephant says:

There is the VAT example – but people tend to forget, as long as the bulb in their street is fixed – then yes, you get my vote — one of the deep defects of democracy

  6. canon says:

Not Fresh Labour but F’_ _ _ _ New Labour (with apologies to Jose Herrera).

  7. Aunt Hetty says:

What charisma? He is at his most menacing when he bares his teeth in a travesty of a smile.

  8. Mario Pace says:

Sur DeMartino jugaghni tinkiteb. Fuq il-mudell ta’ tiksirni

  9. Min Jaf says:

Shouldn’t that be Sour Bartolo. Varist was, and still is, a sourpuss.

  10. ciccio says:

    When did communists have charisma?

  11. L.Gatt says:

Is “charisma” the new buzz word amongst Labourites?

How have they suddenly all become charismatic? I suspect they do not know the meaning of the word. Even a soft-boiled egg has more charisma than Joseph Muscat.

    • X’GARGARELLA QABDITKHOM SINJURI BLA ISEM TA’ GONZIPN ! MELA X’SE TAGHMLU L-GHADA TAL-ELEZZJONI ????

      • Grosvenor says:

Nittamaw li tkun kuntent u ma narawkx izjed kitba minn tieghek.

      • Jozef says:

Sur Privitera, jien naf x’se naghmel, nistenna lil Joseph jghidilna x’ser jaghmel hu.
