Ah, so they adopt blue ties and abolish the old “torca” but I see the socjalisti are still passionately singing their socialist anthem and viva l-Labour. Tal-biki.
My idea of a nightmare. And that does not even involve the old Labour flags.
Now that is what I call scary!
It will be much worse if they are in office.
Office? They don’t even know what the word means.
Who let the dogs out?
Joseph, please send them to a free grooming course when you’re PM.
Mejtinbil-guh u mgharrqin fil-faqar u jaffordjaw iPad.
Innutajt haga. Qabel kont tara ir-red hankies jixxejru. Issa bis-sahha tal-PN qed naraw iPads.
They can change the placards and flags, but what are they going to do about the people?
Which people? Would you classify that motley half-crazed crowd as “people”. Democracy, as we know is “government by the people, for the people” That, obviously excludes the riff-raff that was shipped to Gozo last Sunday.
Were they trying to get a free trip to Gozo?
The Kartanzjan do!
so typical Labour. Biza ta’ nies. Ifhem ilhom ftit ma jifirhu issa msieken.
I just got the chills. The thought of MLP will be in government in March is enough to give me great pains, let alone when the people get crazy and vote them in office.
The Gozitians wisely have already made up their mind. They smelled a fake politician way before the rest of the people. Gozo can be a pivotal in this election.
Where’s Marisa Micallef (Leyson)?
Advising Konrad Mizzi on his hairstyle and brand of spectacles.

Malta Today ran an article yesterday: “Fresh doubts cast on interconnector dealEU-funded 200MW interconnector between Malta and Sicily risks falling victim to Italy’s election campaign, as regional politicians vow to block it”
Karl Stagno Navarra seems to prefer to look at the various soundbites being made by a number of Sicilian local political figures than the hard facts.
It is true that, like any construction project in Italy, certain quarters may seek to obtain exposure, especially with Italian National elections being held next month, by treating the issue as a publicity platform.
If I were a journalist, I would have instead sought out the real facts and report on them, namely that the project has already obtained the following approvals:
1. Regione di Sicilia. This approval was obtained last summer and signed by former Regione di Sicilia president Raffaele Lombardo in his qualities as “assessore ad interim per l’Energia e per i Servizi di Pubblica Utilita’ ” but is the only approval referred to by Karl Stagno Navarra in his report;
2. Comando del Corpo Forestale di Ragusa;
3. Distretto Minerario di Catania;
4. Dipartimento Regionale dell’ Ambiente;
5. Sovraintendenza della Provincia di Ragusa per i Beni Culturali e Ambientali;
6. Genio Civile di Ragusa;
7. Dipartimento Regionale dell’ Energia;
8. Sovraintendenza del mare;
9. Dipartimento Regionale dell’ Urbanistica (however, this approval has been made subject to the approval of of the Town Council of Ragusa).
It takes more to be a journalist than gathering opinions (the easy bit) rather than facts.
Qieshomx il-Lhud fil-film Exodus?
From what I noticed at “press conferences” the journalists are indeed rare. What we have is a swarm of reporters – that’s all.
Really the journalists in Malta could be counted on the fingers of one hand.
Poor Maltese media. Two days ago I was listening to Labour’s conference and could not stand the rudeness of Konrad Mizzi and the incompetence of Kurt Farrugia, blessed by their nannu Karmenu Vella.
Dear Joseph almost moves me to tears with his pleas for national unity. Then I switch to ONE tv and there’s so much ‘hdura’ coming out of it that I can barely stand the headlines, let alone the content.
Vote Joseph, get old Labour. A leopard can NEVER change its spots.
One more thing: “Malta taghna lkoll”? In which world are you living? It has been ours ever since democracy was restored back in 1987.
You should listen to ONE radio when Maria Camilleri’s phone-ins are on and then you will know the REAL meaning of Mintoffian hdura.
The latest now is voting for Joseph because they do not want any more cases of cancer and asthma in the south.
All the comments below show all the Maltese people who are stuck to the past political mentality of crushing down the bond between the Maltese rather than uniting them. Im not into politics at all but seriously ladies and gentlemen read again all the comments and i doubt how proud you will remain of being a past holder human. The Maltese president is so considerate when he says that generosity and fraternity should not only be in Istrina !
Shame on you !

Can you please watch the video on this page….. and then read the article provided underneath?
Why is the Times embellishing what Karmenu Vella says? Why does the Times make him sound more intelligent than he really is. The Times is filling in the blanks, when Karmenu Vella just mumbled some ‘187’ then ’77’ figures like they’re lottery ticket numbers. We’re talking MILLIONS here. What the bloody hell is the electorate thinking of giving these people the job of running the country?
Karmenu Vella is mumbling… Edward Scicluna is whispering what to say… ( whilst nodding nervously ) and Charles Mangion is dumbstruck. ( no news here )
“When shall we three meet again in thunder, lightning, or in rain?”
“When the hurlyburly ‘s done, When the battle ‘s lost and won”
Bil-penalties nghid se tispicca din l-elezzjoni, ghax propja ground tal-football gabuh terminal.
Astrid Vella and her FAA are very conspicuous by their total silence on the enviormental implications of Dr Mizzi’s project.
Wonder why.
If these people are at the Mgarr ferry terminal, then it’s likely that they’re actually returning to Malta, rather than going to Gozo.
