Brown face, pink neck – if you can’t match the skin-tone, just don’t use make-up. This look is called a Manchester tan.
The Manchester tan look is all too visible here because there’s a moat between the mask and hairline.
A Manchester tan with blusher. Not a nice look. Maybe if you’re under the lights, but not nice for running around in all day.
I solemnly vow that this picture has not been retouched. I paused that video of Muscat at the gym at various intervals and took screen shots. This one shows his terrible make-up, which isn’t matched to his skin, deteriorating under gym conditions.

Incidentally, did they show how much weight he was lifting when he was at the gym? Just curious.
Looked like fake plastic replica weights to me. The man was putting absolutely no effort into it. And, in any case, it was just two or three token lifts for the camera. Fake man, fake weights, fake workouts.
He must be exceptionally strong to carry that fat head of his for so many hours everyday.
If only the economy will grow at the same rate his hair seems to be growing, when he’s prime minister!

Thank God we had this long electoral campaign as the more we’re getting to know him the more we can realize that he’s just one hell of a fake.
