I knew Bernard Vassallo as a Laburist, at least 17 years ago. He rarely spoke about politics and was passionate about sports.

While the appointments of Judge Bonello and Professor Aquilina are to be commended, this appointment yet again smacked of Joseph needing to please someone.
Note that I didn’t mention Judge Philip Sciberras with the above trio, simply because I’m not too sure what to make of that. As far as I know, he’s a staunch Labourite but I don’t recall him being part of the past electoral campaign or sucking up to Joseph in any way (unlike David Farrugia Sacco and his father, of course).

BTW:Where did the rise in honoraria which JPO donated to the Divorce Movement go after it was disbanded? I think he bought a lot of booze with it.

Does anyone feel like we are coming to a point where we’re at the voting stage at the final night of the Eurovision? Where everyone can already guess who is getting the 12 points from whom?
So now the Ministers are done and dusted, Transport Malta and Malta Enterprise CEOs done too.
Now we can go onto Chairman of Air Malta (pretty obvious), PBS (again very obvious), Commissioner of Police (extremely obvious – almost in the territory of the Eurovision 12 points from Germany to Turkey), etc etc

She was on TVHemm last week. She had so much make-up on, I had to wipe the screen when Ruth Amaira came on with the 8.00pm news.
Have no doubt – in the long (short) run Kevin Drake and the rest will all be rewarded. That is PL policy. They do not abandon their faithful – and I totally agree.
