Great piece, Daphne, as always. Now we wait for a “reward” position for Mugliett and a building permit from MEPA to a piece of land in Mistra. All in due time.
Change in direction indeed.
From Professional to Pathetic, Meritocracy to Mediocrity.
Malta is really in Labour, giving birth to a reincarnated Mintoffian government, with the all too predictable monstrous result.
Well said, Phili B.
Brilliant article. May the meritocracy of ‘Malta Tagħna Lkoll’ die along with it.
Another great article. May I suggest that you keep on giving us a link to your articles regularly. Publishing the first couple of paragraphs will also give us a ‘taste’ of its flavour.
May I also suggest (if at all ‘possible’) a basic search engine to your vast range of blog entries. It would greatly help finding facts and opinions published in your posts.
Having said that I also realise your blog has (practically) no sponsors. If this has anything to do with amoral familism (thanks for that post and links!) I would gladly donate to the maintenance of your blog.
I’m sure many others would follow suit.

There is a search engine in the top righthand corner.

What about Eddy Privitera miskin. This is what he wrote in The Malta Independent :
Eddy Priviteera says:

Joe Martinelli: You say that ” a multitude of Labour syupporters……..were treated as equals ” ? Please let us know who are these ” Labour supporters” who were given chairmanships by the PN government ?? THOUSANDS of Labour supporters were treated as if the belong to an INFERIOR RACE, and were politically discriminated against. I AM ONE OF THOSE THOUSANDS, Sur Martinelli !
Say Eddy what do you think you will get on the grounds of meritocracy. Maybe a copy of your CV would help
Brilliant article, Daphne!
Thank you for your articles/blogs, which I have come to consider as the club for the clear minded.
Miskin Eddy, x’jitbaqbaq.
Excellent article. I am sure it will be part of the references in the history books when they deal with the 5 years of Malta Tana Lkoll regime.
