They like her dress. Should she be worried? Yes, obviously.

Eva Peron is looking a bit more rotund lately.

Very drab. No style. Qisha mill-Marsa.

A grassy knoll would go with that dress.

    • H.P. Baxxter says:

Not enough grassy knolls for this lot, mate.

      Ooh, I’ve done it now.

      • ken il malti says:

You can always build one or two.
You just need lots of dirt and some grass seed.

      • H.P. Baxxter says:

We need 39 grassy knolls. They already built one on Birgu’s waterfront – not grassy but thorny and all Area-51 scrub-like, but that’s still one down, so that’s 38 knolls to build.

Wow. Rooney after a bad night at the pub and Peron with half a kilo of filler,

Love the comments on the side. They obviously have never seen a real pro and well attired couple.

  5. TinaB says:

I find what she is wearing to be hideous, in particular the collar.

Qabda nies il-vera qatt ma raw xejn, mamma mia.

To say that J.M. is elegant, it’s time to visit an optician.

His head is getting so big that the few strands of hair he has left have to spread over a larger area.

“Very classy”… no longer tal-ħaddiema, mela.

Whether lace in that fashion is in, or out, anywhere from the borders of Northern Italy upwards it’s associated with Arab women’s preferred styles.

  16. E-gi says:

Joseph should let down those trouser hems and open the side seams of his jacket.

Best would be to have his suits tailormade becuase it’s hard to fit that shape off the peg. There are still some good tailors around but he could always fly to London.

Those comments and so many others dedicated to the adulation of anything associated with the Muscat family are not dissimilar to the kind of deification that often occurs for ‘leaders of non-Western countries’.

Sorry for always using inverted commas and beating around the bush, Daphne, but I am not sure what I can and cannot say under these outdated and draconian libel laws that the Maltese generally use in bad faith anyway.

I could not imagine websites, in Western countries at least (and bar young royal couples of course) actually dedicated to praising the Prime Minister’s wife’s attire.

Isn’t there supposed to be a healthy level of ridicule?

  19. Louis says:

Have you noticed that it is buttoned the wrong side round?

[Daphne – Yes. I’ve just put up a post about it.]

Facebook isn’t the best place to get honest compliments and good advice. Facebook is for kids and immature adults who like to fool around.
