They used Franco Debono because he’s a knave and blackguard, and now they complain because he continues to be one

And they still don’t blame Joseph – who propped Franco up and got him where he is – in the slightest. Typical.

    • winwood says:

No, they would not blame Muscat. They would rather prefer to be “angli tal vara bil musmar f’s*****m”.

  2. Catherine says:

Marc Sant insists you call him doctor because he is a lawyer, failing to see that (1) being called “doctor” because you’re a lawyer is considered ridiculous in normal countries, (2) hergin qishom pastizzi so it really is nothing so very special and (3) the person you are talking to might also be “dr” (as was the case in this particular instance), and an actual real one at that, a possibility that escapes such people because they believe themselves to be so very exceptional.

So although what he says is true, regarding people thinking they’re special and actually being mediocre, it’s a bit of the old pot calling the kettle black. He’s also a rabid Labourite who seems to haunt Facebook waiting to pounce on people who are anything other that that.

Also, why are they so very parochial?

I mean, really, discussions on Facebook? What are they? Fifth form girls?

It does not look good for people in their positions and quite frankly it is cringeworthy. Their lack of understanding of privacy protection on the internet is also pathetic.

  3. VIP MTV says:

Now Daphne you should know better bringing this thing up today just a few hours before the start of Isle of MTV.

You know the concert to which Franco was not allocated any VIP tickets a couple of years ago and threatened to topple the Government. I am sure he has been given VIP tickets and now this will ruin his fun.

As for the Facebook discussion all I can tell them is to enjoy him in their own skip.

They have to lump him all the way. They voted for him and his antics and that is what they are going to get for the foreseeable future. As he would say – Huduh ma saqajkhom.

I always knew I would enjoy a spell with my preferred party in opposition. This was always going to happen.

  5. Catsrbest says:

I can see that the two gentlemen definitely read your blog. Some of the criticism hurled at Franco was, if I am not mistaken, exclusively written on your blog.

  6. kram says:

Very interesting discussion between Marc Sant and Mario Fava, seems like a discussion regarding Franco on your blog. Alan Picco, or is it Pico, tries to water down the controversy but the previous two are so right about Franco’s appointment and his delusion of grandeur.

  7. Jonathan says:

I wonder if Franco managed to wrangle a VIP ticket to tonight’s concert or whether he’ll just walk into the VIP area without one.

  8. Paul Bonnici says:

Maybe the PN will take him back now, Labour used him now.

  9. Chris Portelli says:

Daphne, do you have any idea whether our JPO Smith is at the Granaries, maybe VIP area?

[Daphne – Oh, I don’t give a damn, Chris. The man gives off waves of existential despair wherever he is and whatever he’s doing.]

  10. edgar says:

I don’t think that JPO is at the Granaries. Last time he was seen at a concert he was pissed out of his mind, stone drunk. He must be at home cuddling his pussy – the one whose picture he uploaded on Facebook a couple of days ago.
