The rental contract for that Bahamas villa
The Bahamas villa rented by Tyre Ld for a year at a total cost of $96,000 excluding utilities. John Dalli arrived for the last meeting we know of on 4/5 September and left on 8 September, arriving and departing on a private jet whose crew were put up at the Sheraton in Nassau.
Claire Gauci Borda, on behalf of the gold-trading company Tyre Ltd, of which she and her sister Louisa Dalli were directors and judicial representatives at the time, rented that villa in the Bahamas for a Sergio dos Santos who is named in the contract as the tenant.
The villa was, however, used by a group of people who John Dalli visited there twice, in late August (arriving on the 21st and staying for a few days – he was there at a barbecue on the 24th) and in early September, when he arrived by private jet on the 4th or 5th and left on the same jet on the 7th or 8th with other members of the group.
When Dalli flew from Cyprus to the Bahamas and back (7th to 9th July), the villa had not yet been rented, and his associates in the Bahamas had been staying at the Hilton in Nassau.

It looks like Sergio dos Santos was brought in as a live-in house servant to the itinerant gold diggers. I hope he was paid properly.

How come in the first instance, Tyre Ltd. is indicated as the tenant, and towards the end of the agreement, De Santos is mentioned as the tenant? Was CGB appearing in her capacity as the legal representative of the company or in her capacity as the employer of De Santos? This is not so clear, since there’s not written how De Santos is represented.
If Sergio dos Santos was real, why they didn’t use the last clause to cancel the contract ?
Very unusual to say the least.
