Vatican Radio reports today:
Just a day after Pope Francis condemned the globalization of indifference to the plight of migrants during his visit from Lampedusa, the European Court of Human Rights made an emergency intervention to stop Malta from flying a group of Somali refugees to Libya.

Daphne our prime minister is going to live on Al Jazeera at 17 40 wonder why
Ta’ veru qed unhossni nisthi.
And Muscat made a point to kiss the Pope’s ring a couple of weeks ago. What a hypocrite!
What’s new?
Before the general elections J.M. said that Malta is “taghna lkoll”, after he won the elections Malta is ‘Tal-Laburisti u ta’ min ta daqqa t’id lill-PL biss’.
Before: “We have a road map”.
After: They are still running around in circles looking for the starting point.
Before: Black people on billboards and in the igloos.
After: Push-back policy.
The list of saying something before the elections and doing just the opposite after goes on and on and on.
I watched the Pope in Lampedusa. When he thanked the people there for their hospitality with migrants I thought to myself that whilst it is true that Lampedusa takes in many more migrants than us, they are backed by a country of millions – Italy – so whilst their hospitality is to be recommended that of Malta is even more remarkable.
I was thinking then that Malta would have been a better place to make the point. I was obviously wrong. Years of hard work down the drain.
Claude, one helps persons in need simply because it is the right thing to do.
Hard work? Possibly, but that brings its own reward.
And that is something to which personnel engaged in migrant rescue operations will attest.
Remember when Joseph copied Thatcher?
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.

Like everything about Joseph Muscat and the PL, that was just part of the orchestrated sales pitch in the vote-gathering scam.
Joseph Muscat is a fake and I suspect that if he had to look for his multitude 36000 votes they are all regretting it bitterly
Muscat didn’t just kiss the Pope’s ring. He also kissed Mintoff’s coffin, and with far more passion than he kissed his wife.
