Comment of the day: now that Mrs Malmstrom’s people are turfing them out of her Facebook page, they’re turning up here

Published: August 8, 2013 at 6:59pm

This one wants me to get layered at Marsa. Funny how the most liberal, progressive and feminist party ended up with the most fascist, illiberal, backward, narrow-minded, unenlightened, racist and misogynist supporters (who can’t spell).

Posted by Charles (his real name, as he’s on Facebook, and who was probably baptised Carmel – ghax Charles hu Carmel bl-Ingliz, tafux):

I Am better then you you fucking bitch go to the Marsa open center and get layered by all of them I know you want let this comment show on this blog

I wish I had specialised in sex maniac cases, because I would have ended up with a thriving practice in Malta.

[Daphne – You wouldn’t, because they obviously don’t realise there’s something wrong with them. If they did, they wouldn’t be advertising it on Facebook.]

  2. Liberal says:

Oh sure, the semi-literates think they’re superior, because they know nothing beyond their little group of semi-literate genetic defects.

  3. Mandy B says:

If it wasn’t so pathetic it would be hilarious, I despair.

  4. Jozef says:

    Elve bait. Good.

You can’t blame a vegetable for thinking of layering, can you?

  6. Overseas says:

Reading that comment I can not believe anyone would send their children to Malta to learn English.

[Daphne – Plenty of people in England speak the language as badly as he does. But there you go.]

  7. Matthew says:

When you encounter vile words and uneducated behaviour your persistent and futile point is that every Labour supporter is and behaves that way, if one where to judge all Nationalists by what you say Daphne, it would be a sorry world indeed.

[Daphne – It would actually be pretty good. It would at least mean they are rational, which is a desirable quality in any elector. Nobody can lay claim to both rationality and voting Labour. A Labour vote is generally linked to emotion or the narrow pursuit of personal desires at the expense of the greater good.]

  8. Catherine says:

Is this a sex act I don’t know about? Do tell (or no, actually, don’t, considering its source).

  9. MP says:

Charles darling, you mind explaining how one gets layered?

In-nanna kienet taghmel naqa ta’ trifle tajba, imma mhux bin-nies.

What can I say, enlightened leader at the head of enlightened followers.

Best comment was in Times of Malta of today. Muscat let the World know that you can register your dissent, but do not have to use insulting words. This coming from the same person who asked Malmstrom to give refuge to the immigrants in Sweden.

Such a comment if made by a journalist would not raise an eyebrow. Coming from a Prime Minister of an EU country is something else. How long will it take for Muscat to realize that he is no longer a journalist.

Having let the genie out from the bottle, he is now trying to control it.

[Daphne – He is also a fine one to talk about insults, given the way he speaks, behaves and runs his media machine.]

    • Giraffa says:

When asked whether he still believes Manwel Mallia’s explanation about the half a million Euros stacked in his house, Muscat’s answer was something like “at least he does not have a secret Swiss account” – typical fishwife response, which allows him to avoid giving an answer.

Somehow our reporters stop there, reasoning that at least they have something to print. Never mind the quality, feel the width.

  11. Francesca says:

Well Matthew if you can elect an uneducated PM one automatically presumes you are of like mind.

  12. Dave says:

Laid? Or are we talking about a kinky horizontal conga line? The mind boggles.

  13. Joan says:

It’s amazing how ignorance seems to flourish whenever Labour is leading this country.

  14. H.P. Baxxter says:

Remember “finely layered”? Have we solved the Manu Maltes riddle?

  15. Granita Bonita says:

This women faced abuse on twitter and justice was served,

The PM should apologies to Malstrom and the perpetrators arrested.

  16. Osservatore says:

Did he actually mean “laid”? I took a while to process it.

  17. Antoine Vella says:

This other comment is also fascinating. Does anyone know what “threaten Malta as a sandwich” might mean? Thanks to Facebook I’m learning new expressions all the time.

    Alexander Vella
mrs malmstrom , i understand how youre treathen malta as a sándwich. because when u have your own interest you find the terrotory of malta and know u leave everyone getting pis in our island. i dont mean the kosovos and bosnians that arrived in your country sweden for woman or for asylum also??? maybe you one of them that you like these people, so why ur not going to solve this problem for a small island of malta ? what about if turkey joins eu …..and happens the same from baltic countries ….u think they shut up ..or they send them to muslim country (with all my respect)?? whats sense of eu when we eat in the same plate….”

Alexander Vella says he lives in Tenerife so he’s an immigrant too and if he’s working there he’s “stealing” a job from a Spanish worker, in a country with extremely high unemployment.

Internet has exposed the savageness and ignorance that we have been surrounded by for ages, albeit (almost) blissfully unaware.

Ironically, had their hero – Mintoff – had his way, we wouldn’t even have had computers, let alone internet.

  21. Joseph S Galea says:

PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. I can guarantee that ANY female entering Marsa Open Centre is SAFE. There are no rapists living in there. I recall young Scandinavian female volunteers working there.

Any intelligent person would have been grateful if DCG had actually prevented this comment from appearing on her blog
so as to save “Charles” from the embarrassment of having his vulgarity exposed. Some commenters are so dumb that they need to be protected from their own ignorance.

  25. john says:

I can think of a couple of ladies between whom it would not be an unpleasant experience to get layered – rather like being part of a divine club sandwich.

In the same vein The Times reports that ‘MEPA chairman Vince Cassar suggested differing the meeting . . . ‘
