No, not all Maltese are ignorant and subliterate savages who can’t communicate in either of Malta’s official languages

Quite frankly, all those Maltese jerks swarming onto EU Commissioner Malmstrom’s Facebook page should, and I quote them so that they may understand, ‘fack off and keep it between you legs because we r not you carpet’.

Any other (civilised) Maltese person going in there to protest at this behaviour and apologise for the disgusting hamallagni of their compatriots is being systematically attacked in turn.

It is not only the appalling manners, bigotry and sheer stupidity that worry me (they’re actually talking about the Ottoman siege and how Malta saved Europe, for heaven’s sake). It is the fact that there isn’t a single comment which isn’t riddled with gross errors and in which even the most basic words are misspelled. They’re even getting the Commissioner’s first name wrong – Cicillia – despite reading the correct version repeatedly in the same thread.

Given the exposure which the EU Commissioner’s page has in the current climate, this is the worst possible advertisement for Malta as having an educated and bilingual workforce which makes it easy for investors to set up shop here.

It is an even worse advertisement for Malta as the place to come and learn English as a foreign language. The first question I would ask on reading those comments is: why aren’t all those Maltese people learning English as a foreign language themselves? Why are they telling us they can teach it?

Ah, but the best bit is that we have a Prime Minister who has a very fine British sense of humour. Ask “Cicillia.’

      For Heaven’s sake.

This is what Labour must have meant when they said it would have the most feminist government in history. Diplomacy is being dished out on the social media in expletives alluding to that most female of orifices the Maltese ‘gh*xx’, through which everything ends up travelling!

Another instance is the phrase “Malta tal-Maltin Biss,” doesn’t it translates to “Tourists Are Not Welcomed”?

These people make fun of Cecilia Malmstrom and probably other Swedish people.

Most of them probably go to Marrakesh to look cool.

Ironically enough Marrakesh organizers do not want this hammalagni of a crowd but had to succumb to them since the Swedish crowd stopped going to their events.

And where is the PN in all this? Don’t they have an opinion?

All the spelling mistakes must be derived from all the passion they feel while writing down their ignorant, abusive and arrogant comments.

Their heart would be pounding so hard, they would start typing so fast, they don’t even dare to have a look at what they wrote before pressing SEND.

What do you expect when they surely get their education from Super One? Didn’t you hear that it is being considered for the Ivy League even though it is not listed as a University…

  9. Rumplestiltskin says:

My thoughts exactly. Why would anyone come to learn English in Malta, with all this evidence that almost nobody in Malta can speak/write the language?

  10. AE says:

I think this just shows the English language schools that they have a new market to target which is entirely home based. They won’t even need to look for host families.

Ms Malmstrom must have come to the conclusion that the Maltese feel so threatened by the Africans for one simple reason … Africans are civilized.
