Exactly who is Charles Guillermin? He looks like he’s the sort of consultant Joseph Muscat would love.

No. 81 on the list of Malta’s Top 100 websites is now charlesguillermin.com. The name stuck out like a sore thumb among the usual names, so I popped in for a look.

There are just three pages on the site, and when you enter, what you find is a photograph of this person posing with a red car, and:

Welcome to my website!

My name is Charles Guillermin, I live in Malta and I am self-made-man working in the online marketing since 2002.

I had developed trough my various projects technical skills in SEO, SEM, SMO and emailing.

Recently, I founded Gold.com.mt, a securised investment platform in precious metals.

I like to travel,to do sport and challenge myself in ambitous and innovative projects.

Whether you are an online entrepreneur or a private individual looking for an honest solution to protect your wealth, I am able to offer you the right solutions or put you in relation with the appropriate contact. I invite you to have a look to my current projects and do not hesitate to contact me via my website or on the social networks.

The whole thing is so odd. He lists four projects, all of which seem to demand that you put money into them when there is not even a contact address, formal identity or telephone number, and then in large letters on the second page:

Consultancy Services : EUR 1000 an hour.

The Labour government should hurry and engage his services as a consultant, with a letter of appointment for Eur6,000, which will buy six hours of his time. Charles Guillermin looks right up their street.

https://www.gold.com.mt – the site Guillermin says he’s set up – takes you straight to https://www.goldbroker.com/#449 – an affiliate link to a site that belongs to somebody else.

And this is his odd site:

    http://www.charlesguillermin.com

    https://www.yacht.com.mt and https://www.realty.com.mt don’t load – ‘server not found’

    https://www.ads.com.mt brings up ‘account suspended’

  3. Spam says:

. I noticed his website was popping up when clicking on torrent sites.

Probably that is one of the reasons his site is top 100 due to the paid ads.

”Civil Liberties Minister Helena Dalli is on record saying the use of the word ‘marriage’ has cultural and traditional implications that could make it more difficult for society to accept same-sex unions. She also argues that the law will not be cast in stone and will evolve along with society.”

Maybe Min Dalli is of the opinion that the word ”Marriage” is politically incorrect in our present progressive and liberal Malta and should be banned for the more politically correct ”opposite-sex civil union”?

Anybody who gives this man their money must be nuts.

Is the Malta Financial Services Authority aware of this guy?

  6. Dissident says:

Would you pay €1000 p/h for someone who doesn’t have the decency and good taste to upload a sharp and good quality photo of himself on his facebook profile?

  7. Tiffany says:

    What a prick.

  8. Ghoxrin Punt says:

Exactly who is going to part with that sort of money to that sort of person. Whoever does, will deserve what he gets.

  9. Edward says:

Looks like he takes his fashion tips from Franco Debono.

  10. Colin says:

He has well over 2000 Twitter followers and follows a grand total of zero. I find that interesting.

  11. ciccio says:

The picture with Francoise Hollande and the one with the lectern and flags in the background (same shirt and same haircut) were taken during a speech given by Francoise Hollande to the French community in Malta at the time of the 5+5 meeting in Malta on 5 October 2012. The event took place at the French Ambassador’s residence in Zebbug.

  12. Gary says:

This is either a total scam or somebody just having a laugh. The site gold.com.mt goes to another website belonging to someone else and the others don’t work.

  13. La Redoute says:

Maybe he’s related to Mary Swann and her fraudulent investment network.

  14. canon says:

No serious and professionally set-up consultant would try to attract new business by showing photos of himself in flashy cars.

  18. tinnat says:

  21. anthony says:

This guy must be an associate of one of the following :

Dalli, Nair, Mary Swann, Joey, the reina consorte or Sai Mizzi’s husband.

Daphne, the sooner you find this out the better for Malta.

You are the only person who can do it.
