ASSISTANCE PROGRAM TO COMMERCIALISE INNOVATIVE
This is the title of a government press release. But what does it mean?
In British English, ‘program’ is the coding that drives a computer. Everything else is a ‘programme’.
In any form of English, innovative is an adjective, not a noun. The noun is ‘innovation’.

Ajma. Having to adhere to rules of a language is so…bureaucratic. All that red tape is like a ‘briksa’. Fil-moviment il-gdid tista’ tuza aggettivi kif joghgbok. U tista tuza l-US English ukoll ghax dak hemm fuq Google Translate.
There are a couple of EU banner ads that are terrible too. Every time I read them, I half write an email urging a correction, then just know that they just won’t get it, and cancel.

It’s an advanced method hiding nothing behind words that mean nothing but you then add a photo of the minister. Brilliant just brilliant.

Someone must be reading your blog after all. It is now correct : )
It’s obvious that that they use the computer grammar correct which is US English. When you write programme (the proper way) the grammar correct gives it as wrong. One has to know proper English to ignore it.
As for ‘innovative’, it wouldn’t know under what context one is writing it, and since the spelling is correct the grammar correct would not mark it as incorrect.
Stupid amateurs, the whole lot of them.
They cannot manage a simple press release.
How on earth can anyone expect them to run a country.
It was not part of the ‘kors’ curriculum.
