Albert Marshall is going to his own talk! (He seems to have been the only one, actually.) And Albert Cachia likes this!

And everyone was welcome. And entrance was FREE. And yet, he was the only person going.
I would highlight the fact that he was the ONLY person going to the event. And he IS the person delivering the talk. Which means that nobody was going.

I bet that he’s had his (and his wife’s) trip paid for from the public coffers with the excuse of this talk and some other events.
Either it was a very, very long talk or the speaker needed weeks to prepare it or to recover from the ordeal.
Who paid for his return fare to Australia? We should be told.
