Owen Tweet

Just look at what Owen Bonnici, the PS for Justice (and why is the PS for Justice even involved in this sale of citizenship thing?) tweeted today:

Simon Busuttil sold Malta abroad to score points at home. Disgusting.

Talk about turning the facts on their head. He’s learning fast from his boss.

What gall. They are blatantly doing what they can to sell Malta’s soul and here they are blaming the PN for what they are doing.

Joseph Muscat is no better than a pimp who is prostituting Malta. The fact that the bounty is going to be so much doesn’t change this simple fact.

And this is the only comparison that makes sense. Not all the ones that Muscat has been making.

  2. watchful eye says:

He is really a wolf in sheep’s clothing. And very, but very presumptious.

  3. Sparky says:

There are quite a few out there that actually believe that all the negative publicity has been brought on by the Nationalists. How can one be so genuinely ignorant?

    • Rosie says:

      they are born that way

    • PD says:

This evening right on cue and obviously acting on instructions, many prominent PL politicians and party big heads have been posting Facebook statuses along these lines. That these headlines are all the Nationalists’ fault.

Their audacity knows no bounds. It’s about time a concerted effort is made by the PN to utilise social media and start turning this around. PL are in Government, so let’s stop this almost national delusion that whatever happens is the Nationalists’ fault.

Owen Bonnici and Joseph Muscat sold our identity abroad and now we do not even recognise ourselves anymore. Disgusting.

  5. Rosie says:

Ten months, they are going down and hell bent on taking all of us with them. Did they actually believe that the mentality that prevails in their ranks would be even remotely acceptable to the rest of Europe?

  6. pablo says:

Muscat assures his followers that we already have top notch investor applicants queuing up for passports. Did Henley just give him the list or was it the other way around?

And I am not being funny.

  7. Manuel says:

They are still in campaign mode. It’s unbelievable.

  8. Francis Saliba MD says:

Agreed with the scoring of points by Simon Busuttil at home bit. That is the reason underlying the lie that Simon Busuttil sold Malta abroad.

Obviously the “sale” is of Malta’s good reputation and of Malta IIP passports. It is not taking place abroad. It is being carried out by the Maltese incumbent prime minister from Castille employing a foreign commercial business company.

As my mother would say, “injurant di prima sfera”.

  10. Lestrade says:

Henley is the tail wagging the dog.

  11. verita says:

I believed he is a decent and honest person, but these remarks put him in the inner circle of Labour ignorance.

  12. PWG says:

How silly, Owen. If you know what’s good for you keep out of the debate.

  13. Kukkurin says:

Wake up to the reality of Malta’s international shame, Owen. We thought better of you, but of course like the rest of them you know on which side your bread is buttered and thanks to your Great Leader’s defiant sagacity you must all now either continue to row the boat or sink with it .

  14. Steve says:

On this blog many people seem taken back that the Labour Party/government brought all this on our country, far from the scheme itself which is shameful.

It is important to understand that this government has no other plans whatsoever how to effectively attract investment and continue creating jobs like its predecessor did.

This is really alarming because all the good done in 25 years can be easily lost in the coming five years.

    • ciccio says:

It’s not just that “this government has no other plans whatsoever how to effectively attract investment and continue creating jobs like its predecessor did.”

It does not have any will or intention to do so, because it plans to rely on the easy task of selling passports. Welcome to the passports economy.

  15. Steve says:

Come on, this is and was the mentality of the Labour party all along, they are not willing to work in order to attract investment, create jobs and generate revenue.

They just want a one time revenue boost and do not give a damn that we will be seen as a country that is ready to defy all its obligations and international laws just to make some money, because let’s be straight about it, a one-time income of one billion something is a mere amount when compared to the amount of money needed to generate welfare in the coming four years that these amateurs will be in government.
