Hollande was elected President of France because the electorate wanted a change. Since then his popularity has gone down steadily because the people are not impressed by his political performance. His private life, which he imposed on France by declaring his mistress the First Lady of the country, only to dismiss her for another mistress shortly afterwards, has been shocking even by French tolerant standards in this regard.
His endorsement of Joseph Muscat can hardly be a good omen.
Joseph Muscat is fast losing his few friends who are dropping like flies. But how lucky for the French people to possibly be getting rid of Hollande before his time whilst Muscat remains pretty well buckled down in the driving seat here. Yet Busuttil always predicted it would all end ‘gas down ghal gol-hajt’.
And one massive failure endorses another.
I wonder if he still feels the same way about Muscat and his progressive party.
He’s got crash helmet indentations on his forehead.

It was said when talking of the EU that France was the mind and Germany was the engine room. Obviously that is no longer the case.
Now France is the loins and Germany is left alone to run the show.
Brussels runs the show. And Germany pays.
“His (Joseph Muscat) victory would be a boost for European people”. Bla sens. Can someone explain?
Hollande proved that where there’s a willie there’s a way
