No, this photograph of Joe Grima (Malta’s special envoy to the World Tourism Organisation) is NOT Photoshopped

Joe Grima

Joe Grima wishes people to understand that this photograph of him at a fast food outlet has been Photoshopped to make him look the way he does in it (as though Jonah is struggling to get out).

I wish to make it clear that the picture has not been touched at all, not using Photoshop and not by any other means. It was taken by one of Malta’s most acclaimed photographers, who happened to be there, using his phone. He sent it straight from his phone, there and then in the fast food outlet, to my email inbox and I uploaded it immediately on this website.

The image is intact.

    A word of advice.

The guy in this shot should be at Mater Dei Hospital and not at the World Tourism Organisation.

    For his own good.

    Message to Joe Grima.

This is what a photoshopped picture is like.

Reshuffling? Muscat, consider my suggestion … He’d make a great health minister.

  6. canon says:

Who is that lucky passenger who happens to sit near Joe Grima on a plane?

  7. Joe Fenech says:

Now, can he tell us exactly why he thinks he’s entitled to disabled parking? If there is no medical justification this is simply and purely a case of ‘fraud’.

  8. Joe Fenech says:

Is Grima saying that he’s been made fatter or that his clothes have been changed? Such photo doctoring would be extremely complex against such a complex background. B’min trid tit###ek Sur Grima?

  9. Neil says:

Does he honestly not know what he really looks like? The man is HUGE, morbidly obese.

But no, hang on. His life partner said it is a ‘condition’.

  10. Grezz says:

What’s he going to do next? Blame a 3D printer for his appearance when people meet him in the flesh?

  11. H.P. Baxxter says:

Were his portion sizes also Photoshopped?

Jonah? Actually, I think it’s the whale trying to get out.

  16. simca says:

I’m surprised the photographer could capture the full bulk with a smart-phone. You’d think a lens with a very wide angle would be essential.

  17. Tinu says:

Joe Grima was fitted to be the new President of Malta. It would have been joyful watching him taking part in the yearly charity run from San Anton to Valletta.

  18. ciccio says:

Guys, don’t forget, it’s all about the roadmap.

If Claudette Abela Baldacchino was already taken up as a zebra crossing, who better than Joe Grima to serve as a roundabout?
