The Prime Minister conducts his bilateral relations out of the Labour Party HQ

Muscat China Labour HQ

The Malta Independent reports today:

The “excellent relations” between Malta and China led to important achievments for both countries in the energy sector, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat said during a meeting with Chinese government officials.

Dr Muscat met Vice-Minister Yu Hungjun and Chinese Ambassador to Malta Cai Jinbiao at the PL headquarters in Hamrun.

No distinction between party and government: the prime minister, meeting the Chinese ambassador at Labour HQ rather than at his government office.

Or perhaps there is something we should know?

Were they, in fact, meeting as Labour Party leader and Labour Party donor?

Exactly one year ago as an April fool joke the Times of Malta printed this http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20130401/local/old-buses-drivers-to-return.463644

One year on the old buses are back on the road.

What’s it going to be this year?

Yep, the LearNinG curve was thought to be less steep, but in any case, they deserved the chance. The other choice was also stark.

LawreNce Gonzi more of the same. I hope that by the next legislature, they will improve.

Oh and by the way, all parties in Malta are 5 years dictatorship.

      So nothing has changed.

The Chinese gentleman is not a Vice Minister (unfortunate choice of title) of the Peoples Republic of China. He is a business, of upper middle rank of a ‘State Owned Enterprise’ (SEO). The meeting was led by the Chinese business man apparently, and the business is with Jo and his gang.

Though this business will undoubtedly affect Malta, it will not benefit Malta – the meeting being held in PL war bunker is apposite.

This morning I was on my way to work on the tal-Ballal road heading to Naxxar, moving slowly in bumper to bumper traffic.

As I approached the roundabout leading out from Gharghur, I started hearing sirens wailing and obviously, in bumper to bumper traffic, panicked as I tried to see how to get out of the way to allow the ambulance or police to pass through unobstructed.

A policeman on a motor cycle arrived on the scene and kept driving right onto roundabout traffic to halt cars, which could have easily caused an accident.

The prime minister’s car followed with Joseph looking very smug and grinning like a toddler who has just discovered chocolate.

When I saw that he was responsible for the commotion I was furious.

What abuse of power and what arrogance.

He could have caused an accident, not to mention that him needing to pass through rush-hour traffic is not a fudging emergency.

Honestly, I’m just sick to death of his impropriety, selfishness, abuse of power and his inflated sense of self worth.
