This is just so wrong

Joseph Muscat appears determined to get back at George Abela for having the temerity to run against him in the Labour Party’s leadership elections by making him look as ridiculous as possible – not that Abela is doing anything at all to help himself by going along with these painful, compromising situations.

Where are they hiding the picture of the moment when Michelle Muscat introduced the Corrupt Leyla Aliyeva to the prime minister?

I can’t believe that Mrs. Muscat forgot to introduce the daughter of the Azeri despot to the chief decision maker on the island.

I’m sure that somewhere there is at least a selfie showing Joseph Muscat and the Corrupt Leyla Aliyeva, possibly with Mrs. Muscat sulking in the background.

PRAGUE (Panorama.am)—On Feb. 26, the Azerbaijani Embassy in the Czech Republic attempted to conduct a public event in Prague in which members of the Embassy set up tents at one of Prague’s popular city squares as information booths titled, “The Past and Present of Azerbaijan.”
As representatives from the Armenian community of the Czech Republic told Panorama.am, it came as no surprise that the “information booths” were distributing propaganda material that was anti-Armenian and racist in nature. The day was not chosen at random, being the day that Armenians commemorate the Sumgait and other pogroms that took place in Azerbaijan against Armenians before and during the Karabakh war. It was also no surprise to the Armenian community that the Azeri tents were actively presenting Baku’s version of events that took place in Aghdam in 1992.
The event caused anger among a group of locals who approached the tents and called to stop the promotion of racism in Prague. As a result, the Azerbaijanis were forced to remove their anti-Armenian materials, remaining at their booths with only the pastries and tea they offered passers-by.

This is the essential part of prolonging and giving support to tyrants, despots, anti-democratic and corrupt people – the presence of the Prime Minister’s wife and the President shaking hands with this woman are a far cry from leading by example. It is indeed most shameful and embarrassing. George Abela should have the courage either to pull out from such occasions or to quit his role if forced by PL to act against his personal convictions.

The President doesn’t look happy at all and I know from people who work with him that he doesn’t look forward to official functions with the PM. I think you’re right that the PM is getting back at him.

If they invited Leyla Aliyeva to inaugurate an environment exhibition, then I am expecting them to invite Ilham Aliyev himself when they come to inaugurate the LNG tanker in the middle of arsaxlokk Bay.

Perhaps children from Marsaxlokk and Birzebbuga should be asked to draw what they think about the LNG tanker close to their homes and send the results to the dictator’s daughter for her next exhibition.

Joseph Muscat is not yet finished with George Abela.

It is all an orchestrated attempt at making the head of state look like a fool.

Although I am no fan of Abela, this is just not the done thing.

What stupidity. The President of the Republic is a free man. He could have refused the invitation. But he didn’t, because he sees nothing wrong here.

“Illum it-tajjeb gie hazin u l-hazin sar tajjeb”

I like this as a simple but powerful statement of awareness that is equally valid as a retort.

I wonder if there could be some focus on more of these?
