“Communication between the ministry and OPM was terrible. We could have had greater harmony.” – Godfrey Farrugia

“We could have had greater harmony”, Godfrey Farrugia told Times of Malta of his relationship with the Prime Minister’s Office. My, how naive.

The very reason for his appointment to cabinet was his public crucifixion. How could Farrugia, in all honesty and with his head screwed on right, have hoped for any sort of harmony with the prime minister’s office when the prime minister owes Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando big-time and Pullicino Orlando has him by the short-and-curlies?

If Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando could strip Godfrey Farrugia naked and flog him through every town, street and square of this island with a placard round his neck and something nasty written on it, he would.

He has chosen the next best thing, and his ally Muscat has helped him out.

And once more, we watch as reporters and interviewers determinedly skirt the big fluorescent elephant in the room. Not one will ask either Marlene Farrugia or Godfrey Farrugia the only question that needs to be asked:

Why did you think you had a chance of survival in this government with Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando yanking the prime minister’s chain and calling in favours?

That all makes a lot of sense, Daphne. Gee what a state that country’s in.

A large fossil-fuel-gobbling monster of a vehicle for Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando, formerly Green Politician of the Year.
