Here’s another one who’s just discovered that if you let yourself be bought, you will eventually be sold

Published: April 7, 2014 at 10:57pm

Or, more explicitly and specifically, those who have been able to buy you will have no qualms about selling you. The two transactions are morally akin to each other.

If you allow yourself to be bought, don’t complain when you are sold.

Joseph Cuschieri is up in arms (I get that via Arnold Cassola – see here) because Labour’s three MEPs have been ‘chosen’ already, and he is not one of them.

And what he’s telling us, too, is that he believes Labour voters vote like sheep: according to party instructions. Nothing we didn’t already know, which is how he has his seat in the European Parliament to start with.

Incidentally, the ‘Muscat’ in Cassola’s last line should read ‘Cuschieri’.

    Kemm naqbzu meta joqros lilna.

Marlene and Godfrey Farrugia, Joseph Cuschieri, dissidents only after a year.

Cuschieri is clearly a disposable item to the likes of a manipulative freak like Jo. The fact that Cuschieri was taken by surprise at the way he was utilised and dumped shows that he is not fit for purpose.

Soon we will find out what his shut-him-up iced bun will be.

    I shudder at the thought.

    This was Cuschieri yesterday:

“Huwa imperattiv li aħna noqogħdu b’sebgħa għajnejn li ma ninħakmux min dawn l-iżbalji kardinali li nawru t-tmexxija tal-gvern tal-PN ta’ qabel Marzu tas-sena l-oħra. Għandna d-dmir u d-dover li fil-veru sens tal-kelma nkunu umli u fuq kollox differenti mill-gvern Nazzjonalista. ”

I’ve said it many times that “an implosion within the PL is inevitable” (it makes little sense to assume that they are all
rotten). For the time being the majority of the Labour people are inebriated, but once the sobering process kicks in and reality starts catching up on them, then they’ll be faced with a very different ball game.

Clint Camilleri in Gozo is another naive who risks facing similar treatment to Cuschieri.

Joseph Muscat is just after the basket he carries.

A word of advice to Cuschieri: you won’t be flavour the month again for a long time. Any renegotiation isn’t worth it.

unfortunately, as much as I admire the work of Simon Busuttil (I was very sceptical at the beginning) a majority of 36,000 is nearly impossible to reverse given the way the MLP has infiltrated everything and everywhere.

  4. Antoine Vella says:

I’m sure Jo Muscat can, if he wants, invent some chairmanship for poor Jo Cuschieri.

If no consolation iced bun is offered, I’d say Muscat is considerably more callous than I thought. When you consider that even someone like Ronnie Pellegrini has been given a slice of the cake . . .

There is still the question about who will replace Marilweez in Parliament.

Is that a random file name in the Youtube link above?

      Answering your question.

It is certainly not. On the contrary, it is eminently suitable – in this case, at least.

  7. Wistin Schembri says:

Daphne, I recommend that you start an exercise where your audience could put forward ice bun proposals to buy back Joseph Cuschieri.

  8. Nik says:

    He’ll become an ambassador.

  9. J. Agius says:

Yet another example of Jo using people, and his own people at that, to achieve his goals. He is as ruthless as they come. Such a horrible trait.

  10. eve says:

He is not good for MEP anyway.

  11. janeff says:

Joseph is making lemon juice out of many of his own supporters.

Joseph Cuschieri was just another tool
