Interesting to see that the state broadcaster is shamelessly filching images from this site and not even bothering to change the file name

TVM wanted to rely on reliable sources – hence why they copied your images.
On closer inspection of the pictures, Tanti appears to be without his trousers on…must have had his pants scared off him when jumping off the cliff.
Veru teacher pervert.
Well it’s the least they can do if it was taken from their footage.
[Daphne – Not really, no. They are state broadcasting outfit with the equipment and technology to take a proper still from video footage. They should not be going around lifting amateur iPad screenshots with scrapbook red arrows from people’s blogs. Crass amateurism: that was my point.]
Doubtlessly they’ve given you due credit
The Taghna Lkoll philosophy is all embracing and seems to include even your photo files.
I was able to access your blog via wi-fi at Valletta council yesterday.
Dear Daphne with all your respect i don’t think they took the image because were from your site, as an ex web editor of a media i know that sometimes you took images from google and you don’t realise from where you are taking them, you just see the image and save for the rush of the time, of course the media did bad because they didn’t give you the credit that is the minimal think that they should do.
i think is a good idea is you send them an email regarding your credit on the picture
congrats for your blog is really interesting and i like how you write :)
Oh my Lord!
sorry for my grammar i’m not an english speaker and sometimes i have mistakes :) btw i did the exercise to look for “erin tanti on google” i check on the images and this is what i found your image is one of the first ones :) actually almost all your images are being show it by google :)

http://www.google.com has Daphne’s site listed at least six times, when you search for news through google’s search engine.
Maybe because it’s the most visited site.
Maybe because it’s the most popular site for news.
Maybe because it beats the others in Malta.
Maybe because it makes sense.
And meanwhile teachers are being asked to provide a copy of their warrant.
Why?
Because Maria l-Maws finally woke up to the fact that there are actually teachers who are performing teaching duties without having a warrant.
He’s was Minister of Education in 1997 during Alfred Sant’s government, He’s been a minister for a year now, and don’t know how many years as shadow minister for Education.
And now he is finally aware of this anomaly
Wakey wake Varist ghax irqadna siehbi.
So what if teachers have a teaching warrant? Erin Tanti could have had a warrant. Would it have kept Lisa Maria Zahra alive?
One seriously hopes that warrants are numbered and schools should have the warrant details in their personnel file. How can organizations not check and keep a record of credentials when it is widely know that CVs are enbellished and there is widespread reporting that this practices has risen dramatically in the last decade.
Kroll Background Worldwide (KBW), a background screening company reported, in 2011 a 115 per cent rise in factual inaccuracies on CVs in 2010, with nearly half (42 per cent) of all resumes it screened in that year containing inconsistencies.
One of course wonders if the school asked for references from Mr. Tanti and if so, what these people have to say about the whole sorry affair.
Daphne, you must be proud, as those One reporters now on the state payroll at Xandir Malta are reading your articles, and getting more and more jealous.
