Keet Schembri’s mummy wants me stopped

Published: April 6, 2014 at 12:24pm

Josephine Schembri, whose son Kasco Keith is personal assistant to the prime minister and also his chief of staff, is fuming because I wrote about Marie Louise Coleiro’s ‘zball’.

You know, because you can target a man, wreck a home with three young children in it, get pregnant by him deliberately because selfish little you are 36 and the clock is ticking, and all of this by ‘mistake’.

It’s very telling, isn’t it, how so many Maltese don’t distinguish verbally or conceptually between mistakes and deliberate decisions, some of which are sustained over long periods.

And now she wants me stopped. God knows how she’s been banging that telephone to her important son: “Imma possibbli ma tistghu taghmlu xejn biex twaqqfuha meta issa ghandek il-power, Keet, hi?”

Josephine Schembri (on Facebook)

Il Bambin jahfer u n nies tad dinja le jibqghu ixandru l izbalji u l hajja personali ta dak li jkun ghall snin twal. Taghmel kemm taghmel tajjeb l izball jibqa jissemma. Uffffff xu dwejjaq ta nies

Josephine Schembri
Jien ma nistax nifhem kuf certa nies qisu hadd ma jista jwaqqfhom. Ara jemm qed iwegghu nies innocenti

Why am I not surprised Keet turned out the way he did with a mother who doesn’t understand the fundamental concepts of democracy, freedom of expression, authoritarian diktat and human rights violations?

Ignorance breeds ignorance, literally so.

Can we ask her who the ‘nies innocenti’ are? It is certaily not amusing to read statements which show that actions are judged according to who makes them and not according to the action.

I wonder what she would have said if a single woman, with nothing to lose, had put her claws in her husband and wreaked havoc on her family. Would she have said that the ‘miskina, innocenti ghamlet zball’?

The champion of the downtrodden, indeed! When one is self-serving one continues to be self-serving as we can see by the use of public funds for a protracted ceremony, a residence in Gozo, and ‘favuri’ for the queue outside her office. That is not good politics that is self-serving. ‘Innocenti’ indeed.

Mrs. Schembri probably called the Auberge de Castille and asked them why they are still paying you to keep this blokk.

Do you remember the cheap propaganda “Deffni mhallsa minn Kastilja”?

Poor old Mrs Schembri she just does not know and cannot distinguish between forgiving and forgetting.

We humans are as forgiving as our Lord is but our brains are made in a way that they cannot forget something registered therein.

It is the same with Mrs Schembri when she remembers the previous administration. It is not the same with St Joseph Taghhom Lkoll. He can forgive thieves and pardon them legally but he cannot help remembering how Gonzi outdid him. I bet neither could Mrs Schembri. Indeed.

Hello Josephine, how do you do?

Kemm huma kattivi n-nies tad-dinja, hux?

Nowadays, foisting idiotic and truthless comments on facebook has become a national hobby. A hobby many are proud of and consider a right. Otherwise if you try to defy their falsness you stand to be bullied all over the place and crowned as king of negativity.

Cause you aren’t cool enough and against the national interest. That is ‘aaa gakbin hi’.

    ” . . . għandek il-power”

Says it all really, doesn’t it? What it is all about, for them.

Dear Daphne ,,as I told you earlier it is a grave sin to rob a woman of her husband and children of their father. It is a sin that can never be forgiven. The consequences are devastating
Indeed.I speak from experience.Even though my children were grown ups and financially stable when already when this happened to us ,it was and still is very traumatic.More so when there is a child out of the relationship.Time, though a big healer, cannot heal such wounds. But in my opinion it is not you who should comment or write about the sad story. His wife and children should do it.I ask you humbly to stop writing about it.Let sleeping dogs alone.

[Daphne – His wife and children are exactly the ones who should NOT write and speak about this. It would be very unwise.]

I am overwhelmed with emotion that Keet’s Mummy is protecting her baby boy from big bad you.

    • Carmelo Micallef says:

The woman is ‘protecting’ her little boy against cyber bullying.

We are in the land of dimwits and cunning plans.

  17. Tabatha White says:

I wonder whether “zball” in her terminology refers just to the result or to the process?

I wonder also whether her son works by the same philosophy: it’s ok to make mistakes but these shouldn’t be picked up, acted and commented upon if in the balance he’s doing other “good stuff” whilst in public office.

Would it be ok for Keith Schembri to continue using his current public position to plump his business interests, and facilitate matters for business associates, as long as he plumped “Malta’s interests” out more? Would such actions put other “innocenti”/ business investors operating outside of this circle and in the same sectors at an unfair disadvantage? Is he exploiting his position?

Does it become a “zball” if it’s traceable, or is the fact that a conflict of interest is in place in the process part a “zball” in its own right?

Do such matters also need to be explained?
