There’s a report in The Sunday Times – this comes from the e-paper, but it should be uploaded soon in the usual manner.

Gvern li joħloq ix-xogħol u veru joħolqu għax m’hemmx bżonnu.
70 new cleaners to join the public service.
I think it’s a good move. In just over one year running the government, Labour has messed it all up.
And this for the European Parliament elections. I wonder how many they plan to put on the state pay-roll in 2018.
There will be much more to clean then. They either recruit a lot more cleaners, or the PN will have to do the job over the 5 years that will follow.
I wonder how this ties in with this piece of news: http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20140416/local/unemployed-running-after-phantom-jobs.515171
Kenniesa tal-Azzar, anyone?
Even in Gozo. New recruits start work tomorrow.

I never knew nor would have had the least clue that it takes 70 cleaners to clean the mess Joseph Muscat and Cyrus Engerer are in, had it not been for Joe Mizzi.
Tghid izomm wiehed personali ghalih biex inaddaf lilu Joe Mizzi.
Jien kont qed nistenna minn dan il ministru li jimpjega nies mal-kumpanija l-gdida tat-trasport li rnexxilu jgib (fil-holm) flok l-Arriva, drivers godda jew peress li jaf fejn hu z-zejt f’ Malta jimpjega oil diggers u mhux xi sebghin cleaner.
I’ll bet everyone of those cleaners was vetted to make sure they came from long standing Labour families, “tal-qalba” is the term used I think.
What will these 70 ‘cleaners’ clean?
