TAGHNA LKOLL: Cyrus Engerer’s father has an application pending for the full development of his Exiles beach bar

Published: May 10, 2014 at 11:23pm

And when did he file his application? Last August. He’s had that beach bar for 30 years, but he waited until his son’s Taghna Lkoll government was calling the shots before applying for a development permit.

Has pothead Chris Engerer suddenly made a lot of money? Is marijuana that lucrative? The bar is closed through the winter. Or has his Taghna Lkoll son Cyrus put him in touch with a Taghna Lkoll investor?

Either way, that’s going to be his iced bun – a nice reward for being ‘persecuted’ for the sacrifice of his first-born son on Joseph’s altar.

Back In February I personally heard Chris Engerer talking to someone, telling him that now he will get what he wants.

August – that time of the year when everyone’s on holiday.

  3. Bob says:

Is he Chris or Chriss (or for Taghnalkollers, Krist)?

  4. Banana republic .... Again says:

Strange to undertake such investment when the property is owned by the government and Chris simply has a rental contract of some 8-10 years.

As far as I know the Exiles facility is owned by the Civil Service Sports Club and at one time Chris Engerer ran both establishments (i.e. Exiles and Valletta).

Shouldn’t such an application be presented by the owners rather than the lessee?

  6. Rony says:

If the name is ‘Chris’ instead of ‘Chriss’, then the application will have to be republished all over again. If the name on the application form matches those on the site notice and on the MEPA website, but the ID Card shows otherwise, any permits issued in due course may be contested.

[Daphne – His legal name is Christopher. Nobody in his generation was registered as Chris or Chriss. It wasn’t permitted.]

Just heard from the Very Rare Documents Society. Experts have been engaged to unearth any authentic VAT receipts from Engerer’s bar. So far nothing has turned up.
