This government supports Israel and its UN bid. The prime minister, accompanied by his wife, led a very large government delegation to that country last year.

But Jason Micallef, who heads the Labour Party’s broadcast media and is the party’s former (and final) secretary-general, is badly off-message.

And isn’t it terrible that the chairman of Valletta 2018, Capital of Culture, is so poorly educated, that his English is abysmal and his spelling and grammar so sorely inadequate?

There are so many mistakes in these four lines, that just the thought of listing them exhausts me.

The worst, I think, is ‘does it had to take’.

This shows that he is literally incapable of learning by listening and that he doesn’t read anything, at all.

Where in the world has he heard or read ‘does it had to take’, except from other Maltese as uneducated as he is, or Italians struggling hard with the language?

Civillians – ghax in the English you know the L in the middle of the word it is always double like the follow and the allow and the maximillian.

And then, God bless him, the man who writes ‘does it had to take’ miraculously comes up with ‘issuing a call for a Gaza ceasefire’ and ‘a murderous and senseless siege of the innocent’.

How nice it is ey the copy and paste from the England article?

Well, in fairness he did spell ‘losing’ correctly without a double ‘oo’

He can’t write a simple sentence in either English or Maltese.

Doesn’t he also know that the US supports Israel as well?

Ruled by ignorance personified – that’s what we are.
