Good choice Mr. Galea. The only decent newspaper on the island.
Seems he wasn’t very well “cared for” after all.
This is what David Thake said on Radio 101 yesterday morning (translated):
On landing in Malta and being greeted by Joseph Muscat’s face, George Vella’s eyebrows and Manuel Mallia’s belly, Martin Galea turned back to the pilot and asked him to turn back to Libya.
Tajba.
You (or rather David Thake!) made my day.
We still have two breakfast shows with David!
I will save my printed copy for Kurt and Mario to share.
Oops. Now what, get Kurt to issue another statement Cutajar never said what he said?
Malta Today’s piece of fiction makes interesting reading.

I hope “Exclusive” rules out Xarabank.
‘…Qatt hatfek xi grupp milizjani armati sa’ snienhom fil-Libya? Cemplilna u tkun mistieden tghidilna l-istorja tieghek….’
Aqta’ fejn hu mizmum l-ostagg Malti u tirbah pizza ghal tnejn minghand il-Mamma Mia.
To Jozef and H.P.: good crackers.
I hope The Malta Independent asked him what he thinks of the way Marisa Farrugia was treated by the Prime Minister.
Sh*t is hitting the fan faster than the spin doctors can dish out their lies, omissions and inaccuracies. If this were a TV series it would be bigger than Dallas or Dynasty in their heyday. Pity we cannot watch from the distance and safety of our couch with the option of changing channels or switching off when it all gets too much!
Since nothing ever happened to Mr. Galea, can the government explain why ministers and the prime minister were not on the tarmac for every single Maltese who came back from Libya?
Yes, and if Galea was not abducted, what “work behind the scenes” was Muscat talking about at the airport?
And why did the government keep saying that Galea’s life would be in jeopardy if they gave out any information?
Have you all not got used to Muscat”s and his gang’s lies? and efforts (bazwijja) to stick on to the limelight?
So now we have the PM, il Coconut and Mr BS himself all caught lying and trying to discredit Ms Farrugia.
They really deserve each other.c
The last C was meant to be c_nts.
Speaking of good newspapers on the island, First off this tragic occurrence makes me very angry:
http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20140801/local/updated-syrian-worker-dies-after-fall.530160
This was was a needless death caused by greed and stupidity on the part of the employer, hell Malta, are we still in the 12th century when a plank and a rope is still used as an elevating platform?
No Zoom Lift and workers using a mandatory secured safety harness above five feet of work height?
Where is the employer’s safety training and safety officer making suprise job-site visits?
And to put icing on the cake, the Times of Malta closed the comments section as soon as I sent in a comment stating the above.
Their censorship of comments is already out of this world and lately, on chosen articles the Disqus controlled comment monitoring goes out of order when it is convenient for The Times of Malta to mass censor comments on a particular news article, but the next article comments work just fine.
Rest in peace young man, greed, laziness and stupidity on part of the employer cost you your young life unfortunately.
