Yet another liability for Labour

It looks like Josanne Cassar and Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando’s first wife Marlene Farrugia think exactly the same way I do about the Labour Party’s decision to dispatch him as its representative on Xarabank last Friday (and about his performance).

Is Lara Boffa going to take them on too?

Time for Lara & Jeff to understand that last Friday’s performance triggered a seminal shift in public perception. Even those who, until then, had doggedly persisted in believing that Pullicino Orlando is a normal person in pursuit of truth and justice were forced to revise their opinion, some of them with a sudden shock of realisation.

Why now, given that there was nothing new about his behaviour last Friday? Simple: time and context are of the essence. The time and context have changed, but he is still behaving exactly the same way. And that makes people understand that the problem doesn’t lie with the government or the Opposition, whose roles have since reversed, but with him.

Muscat has been labouring under the misconception that pushing the likes of JPO, Frankie Tabone and J DalliBA to the fore is a master stroke on his part. A brilliant way of attacking the PN with ‘their own’ people. How very wrong he is.

He should try asking a few true Labour people about that, and I’m quite sure he won’t get quite the answer he’d expect. Maybe Friday’s Xarabank massacre was enough to finally clear the PM’s perception somewhat?
