  1. The Phoenix says:

No wonder Johnny Dalli went to Lourdes. He went to pray from deliverance. Because if the PN get in, now, he is toast.

  2. Tabatha White says:

Ha! Marlene. Bla kliem u bla azzjoni ukoll.

    • Lizz says:

Bla kliem, imma ta’ min tkun taf li ‘chi tace, consente’ wkoll.

Marlene, stop sitting on the fence and pussy-teasing. Put your money where your mouth is (if you believe anything you say, that is).

  3. H.P. Baxxter says:

Bla kliem, zigg. Issa tigi ghall-vot fil-parlament u kullhadd jaf kif se tivvota.

    The lying, sanctimonious hypocrite.

  4. Mila says:

She should know that THAT is the price for giving power to cowboys.

  5. Sparky says:

Marlene, how’s about upping the ante in Parliament. You’re not an MP to post your views on Facebook for f***’s sake! Do something!

  6. C.G says:

X`kien bla kliem, Marlene? Provi, recordings, gideb, involvimenti. Tista tkun int.

  7. ciccio says:

Perhaps Marlene can come up with some ideas on what the government should leak to Malta Today to cover the government’s arse.

We can all put our mind at rest and go to sleep. He always keeps his promises.

“I will not be afraid of taking the necessary decisions” – Prime Minister on Manuel Mallia case

    http://www.independent.com.mt/articles/2014-12-07/local-news/Deputy-Prime-Minister-Louis-Grech-said-PN-s-media-selected-which-transcripts-of-call-logs-to-publish-6736126970

    • Francis Saliba M.D. says:

The prime minster’s version of “not being afraid to take necessary decisions” is being actually afraid to take decisions and passing the buck to a tailored “ad hoc” inquiry manned by venerable retired judges.

  9. Beingpressed says:

This is going to get very complicated. Who will arrest or charge these people.

    The army?

  10. Tabatha White says:

The President’s role needs to come into play and as much as she is not suited or deserving of the role, she needs to do what is right for Malta.

    Right now.

Otherwise she will be part of this mess too.

    Implicated from now forth.

    • Issa Daqshekk says:

She is busy counting the loot given by the tax payer as a pay rise to her office.

      • Tabatha White says:

Busy or not is not the point.

Has there been a statement from Joseph Muscat?

Are the press at his door at Castille and in Burmarrad?

        If not, why not?

This is a situation which demands action right now.

      • Someone says:

No she was oooinngg and aaaaiing because the Pappaqli tal-Istrina team got her a birdej kejk, with the ubiquitous and naf printed cake topper.

    • Tabatha White says:

      She has done nothing.

      She has said nothing.

      Nothing thorough has been done.

The issue has not been resolved.

      Her silence is very damning.

      Is she sleeping?

  11. jerry says:

Jigifieri Sheehan beda jigri warajh bil-karozza u jispara bil-ministru mieghu.

Difficli biex nemmina. Ghax jekk inhu hekk allura l-ministru mhux talli mhux postu fil-parlament imma maqful wara l-hadid ta’ Kordin postu, mal-klijenti tieghu.

  12. Beingpressed says:

John Rizzo should be reinstated immediately.

    • Madoff says:

Yes and the case of John Dalli re-opened and proper investigations carried out on the Mallia mess. JPO paid back for his loyal service and Franco Tabone returned to his world of irrelevance. Kon-Rat’s dream power station switched off before igniting.

Malta deserves better than this Labour rubbish. A wake up call to sanity.

    • RF says:

Can’t a magistrate or judge take the initiative to issue warrants of arrest of the implicated VIPs?

  13. mxs says:

Can one imagine Franco Debono’s reaction if the Police Minister in this imbroglio had been Karm Mifsud Bonnici and not Manuel Mallia?

    • David J Camilleri says:

The only thing is that Carm (with a C) Mifsud Bonnici is not their type so neither Franco Debono nor anyone else for that matter can imagine such a scenario. It simply would not and will not happen.

  14. gn says:

Kieku jien flokha, noqghod kwieta u fil-laqgha tal-Parlament li jmiss immur bilqieghda man-naha tal-Oppozizzjoni.

U meta jistaqsu, nghidilhom, posti hawn ghal dejjem.

    Dik tkun mossa ta’ mara.

  15. Matthew S says:

Up till this morning, I would have understood Marlene Farrugia’s vote in favour of the government in a no-confidence vote, because she was elected on the Labour ticket and that’s what her electors expect her to do.

But in the light of all the shocking information coming out, I think she really needs to start reassessing her priorities.

Nobody likes a turncoat but in the circumstances, she would be serving the whole nation well if she votes for the Police Minister’s head to roll.

  16. Madoff says:

    Bla kliem u bla pjaciri.

  17. Someone says:

Marlene, issa jkollok il-mument tieghek fil-parliament.

Leave Facebook to the has-beens like your ex.

  18. marlene says:

I could never understand why the PN have given such importance to Marlene Farrugia’s statements on Facebook.

I’m afraid most people I said this to did not agree with me because they even heard the leader of the Opposition quote her.

If she ever wanted to be taken seriously, the very least she should have done was to to get an independent seat in Parliament. She would not have brought down the government by doing this but, at least, she would not have to contradict everything the PL does and then vote in their favour.

I don’t know whether it’s occurred to anyone yet but in behaving the way she does and getting away with it, she is inadvertently helping Muscat’s image as a tolerant man.

After all “Ara Marlene Farrugia tghid li trid u ma qatghulhiex rasha. Hemm ghada.” Ms Farrugia, do something constructive or shut up.

  19. CiVi says:

It’s not an easy situation for Marlene Farrugia. At least she dares speak her mind, and knowing what these Laburisti are capable of doing. I find that quite courageous of her.

  20. sunshine says:

    Marlene’s latest post on FB:

F’ Gieh is- Sewwa, ejja nnadfu dal-pajjiz qabel ma ngherqu izjed.

Ma nhallux il-gid li sar jintradam taht il-hmieg.

Ma nhallux it-tama taghna ghal Malta ahjar taht Gvern Laburista , tisfaxxa f’ dizappunt iehor.

Ejja inzommu lil MALTA L- EWWEL u QABEL KOLLOX u nhallu s-sewwa jirbah.
