WATCH VIDEO: soldier injured during botched anti-terrorist training at Safi barracks

Fear not, for we are in safe hands. During anti-terrorist (aka ‘internal security’) training by the Armed Forces of Malta (3rd Regiment) at Safi Barracks, a soldier received injuries to his face when an exercise simulating a terrorist throwing a Molotov cocktail/petrol bomb at soldiers carrying riot shields went badly wrong.
There has been no investigation. The training exercise was overseen by Bombardier Joseph Bondin.
