Manuel Mallia is aiming to push his way back in

We haven’t discussed this yet, so let’s do so now. These are excerpts from an interview Manuel Mallia gave The Sunday Times last week.

The man doesn’t even know why he should have resigned after his chauffeur was involved in a shoot-out on a public street with a private citizen, which is how the country discovered that he and his wife routinely dump their very young children in the homes of strangers at night to avoid paying proper babysitters who will look after them at home.

I especially like the bit where he says that he “goes down to any level”. Shame there aren’t many levels beneath him.
