National Independent Forum for Sustainability gives government list of alternative sites for University of Baksheesh
The National Independent Forum for Sustainability has prepared a study document which outlines alternative sites for the ‘American University of Malta’ (they’re politely calling it by its official name and not what it really is, which is the University of Baksheesh) in the ‘south’ of Malta.
I have obtained a copy of the document and you can read it here: NIFS – Campus Alternative Sites in the South
Last week, the National Independent Forum for Sustainability presented this document to the Prime Minister, the head of state, and several cabinet ministers who include Education Minister Evarist Bartolo and Environment Minister Leo Brincat.
So far, they have ignored it. It is clear that there is going to be no budging from Zonqor Point.
The National Independent Forum for Sustainability was set up some weeks ago to suggest projects and endeavours based on the principles of sustainability, with a strong focus on halting or reversing environmental degradation.
