Thaer Mukbel: just two employees and $209,525 annual revenue

Thaer Mukbel – he is the man seen gesticulating like a chimp in the video footage of that big ‘university signing ceremony’ at the Auberge de Castille; the one who told Super One TV “Your prime minister is a very good salesman for Malta – has just two employees at his legal office in Quebec and total annual revenue of only 209,525 Canadian dollars a year.

And this is the man with whom the government of Malta is negotiating for the ‘American university’ at Zonqor Point.

What they really should tell us is exactly how he fits into the picture. Thaer Mukbel is a Palestinian based in Quebec, Canada. The sole owner/shareholder of the company (Sadeen Education Investment Ltd) set up to ‘invest’ in the university is a Jordanian called Hani Hasan Naji Al Salah.
