Ex Prime Minister Alfred Sant with convicted cocaine trafficker Meinrad Calleja
The Labour Party really has no standards at all, not even that pseud Alfred Sant who always pretended to be the paragon of moral rectitude, conveniently skipping out the bit where he was President of the party during its worst years in power.
This photograph was taken a few days ago and shows the former Labour prime minister and current Labour member of the European Parliament in conversation with Meinrad Calleja, who spent years trafficking cocaine into Malta via London and Rome while his father was Commander of the Armed Forces of Malta, who was investigated and tracked by the British authorities, jailed in Rome and sentenced to 15 years in prison in Malta.
He is now out of jail and masquerading as an intellectual and academic.
I think it appalling that a man like that is allowed anywhere near a university campus. We all know that Sant needs to have his head examined.
