A rare sighting of Sai Mizzi in Malta
The Energy Minister’s estranged wife, Sai Mizzi Liang, is paid by and under contract to Malta Enterprise but is registered as a diplomat.
She carries a blue (diplomatic) passport issued by Malta but without any mention of her nationality/citizenship. She is registered in Shanghai as the consul-general for Malta and has three armed bodyguards provided by China’s military police.
Her official, chauffeur-driven car has diplomatic plates.
