History rewritten: Muscat and the Labour Party took Malta into the European Union

What did I tell you a couple of years back? It’s only a matter of time before new generations of electors are led to believe that it was Joseph Muscat and the Labour Party who took Malta into the European Union.

Foresight is all, in these matters. If the Nationalist Party, with what was then an up-to-the-minute broadcast media outfit, had had the good sense to record all of Muscat’s ‘Made in Brussels’ anti-EU-membership shows and his pronouncements in discussions and press conferences, today he would not have been allowed to get away with all this.
