Identity Malta chief refuses to comment

I’m listening to David Thake’s show on Radio 101. He has just rung Identity Malta chief Joe Vella Bonnici about the story I reported here.
Vella Bonnici answered his mobile phone but his response was, when Thake asked him whether he had read the story,: “Yes, I know about it, but I’m sorry, I can’t comment.”
Thake asked him again, and Vella Bonnici rang off.
Thake tried to ring him again and he didn’t pick up.
