Read this account of two men walked straight into the secure area for heads of government at the Valletta Summit, took this photograph, had a bit of a gawk, and were ejected by a Maltese security official a full six minutes later, and only after it was heads of government, and not the security officials, who noticed they shouldn’t be there.
And the Maltese security officer, faced by protests from those European heads of government, retorted: “It’s a free country, isn’t it.”
