Three fewer Volvos for auction

The Bahar ic-Caghaq coast road – or what Transport Malta calls “the most beautiful road in Malta” – was christened this evening with its first major traffic accident: a pile-up involving three of the Volvo XC60s imported for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. A friend who drove by reports that the damage is “quite substantial – they were on the outside lane and probably speeding”.
