If simpering were an Olympic sport, the Spouse of the Prime Minister would be a gold medalist. Here she is, visiting some naturally suspicious children or what she calls “kits” at a Marsa nuns’ school and patronising them.
Her visit is clearly a pre-emptive strike aimed at warding off any complaints from the school about building mess and noise as she plans to spend the money which people donated to her Marigold Foundation, to be used for charitable purposes in helping the needy, on converting the building opposite the school into a vanity project called The Marigold Place.
